Blogging has been on the back burner for me the last few months...as it should be. I've gotten so far behind and have so many pictures that I want to post. We've had countless first and made so many memories and I'm sad that I haven't documented them. I'm going to post some of my favorites from the past 3 months. Then hopefully, I'll start blogging more regularly about current happenings in our lives!! It's such a fun time and I'm ready to start making blogging a priority again. My whole family loves to keep up with us via the blog and I love to blog as well!

School, appointments, meetings, and stuff.
School started back for our family. Everything's going well so far. I feel organized and am able to leave as soon as school is out each day. However, I never want to go back to work after a weekend. I have a feeling it will be an ongoing struggle for me.
Molly Caroline started daycare at Mrs. Pam's. We are loving it. She has little friends, and is spoiled. I'm not even going to post my first day pics because they are awful. I was a wreck. I was a mess all week. I stay so busy teaching so that's a plus, but every time Mrs. Pam sent me a picture of what she was doing I would cry all over again. I just miss her so much every day.

Here she is on her first day!
Aren't her and her sweet friends bags adorable?
We have been so busy the past month with our new routine and have had meetings and appointments too. I had another checkup with my Dr. on Wednesday. We took Molly Caroline so Dr. McCollum could love on her. I had a great, long appointment. We had so much to catch up on! Afterwards we ate brunch at Savannah Moon before I went back to work. It was such a great family morning. I definitely cherish the small moments together!
We took MC to her 2 month appointment back in mid-August. Shes a healthy baby! She weighed 12 pounds and was 22 inches long. We love several of the pediatricians at the ped center. Dr. Lehman said that Molly Caroline is one of the most social 2 month olds that she has ever seen. She also commented on how strong she is. Molly Caroline kicked and smiled throughout her appointment. It broke my heart when she got her shots. She cried so hard. I couldn't give her her paci after so I had to carry her out screaming. I heard someone call my name as I was leaving and realized it was Kacey, our labor and delivery nurse! I hadn't seen her since MC's birthday and it lifted my spirits to get to chat with her and show her how well our baby girl is doing. As soon as we got to the car, I gave MC her prize. A new raccoon. I set it in her lap and she instantly stopped crying and fell right to sleep. It was hard dropping her off at daycare so I could go back to work. She actually was all smiles when we picked her up. She was a little more sleepy though and woke up fussing around midnight...which she never does anymore. I fed her and gave her more Tylenol and she was fine. I'm thankful because shots scare me.
Molly Caroline had a urinary tract infection right before Labor Day weekend. We were in the ER from 9:30pm to 5:30am and it was terrible. She is cursed with her Mama's veins I think and they stuck her about 15 times. Her white blood cell count was really high so they were pretty close to admitting us. We were thankful for such great ER nursers, and also grateful that we knew the ER doctor and he ran every test imaginable....just to be sure. He really thought it was probably just a cold because she looked so good. One of our favorite nurses from Mother/Baby even came down to help with our sick girl! I am in love with our hospital and the nurses there. I never thought I'd say that.
So we had several unexpected visits with one of our amazing pediatricians over the next few days following her hospital visit. She had to get shots of antibiotics each time. We were so happy to hear the words that she was all better! Seeing your baby sick is the saddest thing ever! It was so hard!
I also became a Pinterest mom!
So in other random news...
I got my new planner in the mail. I decided to downsize this year and get a smaller and much less expensive version that I normally get. I love it...it is perfect for what I need!! And I feel organized again.
Matt got a new car! He got a Passat and we like it a lot!! It is safe, roomy, gets great gas mileage, has rear air, and all the bells and whistles. :)
Here's to more blogging in the near future.
