Projects!

I finally finished my shadowbox project! I hung the outfit MC came home in, two bonnets that AC wore (including one that I also wore made by my Nanny), and the dress they both wore to church the first time. I love how they turned out!

Next up...a cushion and pillows for MCs room. I already have the fabric, I just need to get them made.

Summer is almost over...

This is how I feel!

I took a lot of pictures this week! We had lots of good time at home together!

A certain princess turned 9 months old!

Ballet week 2 was a success!

Anna Claire found the stairs!

The jackets won the big rivalry game against the Bulldogs.

We've spent our weekend playing, cleaning, and getting a few small projects done.

Time to lower the crib!

Trying on a 9 month outfit that fits perfectly now at 9 months but won't when it's winter time. :(

Restless...

So I'm a week into this study and I just needed to go ahead and post this. I am soooo so happy to be in this bible study, not only is my sweet Mrs Jeannie leading it, but there are women from all stages of life in it (just like in my old Monday night one that I attended for years...some are from that one even). One shared about the most important thing we can do as mothers is to teach our children to be still. And how important it is for us to be still and listen and talk to God. This has always been a favorite verse of mine...but now it's extra meaningful right now. Perfect for this season I'm in!

Go Jackets Go!

This is our fourth year getting season tickets! Such a fun tradition! We love our seats and all the people around us!
Last year AC was in my belly!
Hugging Buzz!
Anna Claire loved her first game! She just sat and watched it for the most part!
The first game is always sooo hot!
A little collage of MC over the last four seasons!
Both girls were asleep by the time we got home! Two exhausted baby jackets!

Here they are on Friday morning!

My little ballerina!

Ballet started last week!

As you can see, she was the first one in line to go in! Every time I peeked in she was doing what she was supposed to. It probably helps that they have one of the directors for their teacher. She is pretty strict.

When she took attendance they had to stand and dance when their name was called.

MC was all smiles after...until I told her we had to go....she cried Bc it was over and she didn't want to leave! She kept saying, "I want to do ballet again!"
Peeking in at the older girls!

She was happy to run wild with her friends afterwards though!
And she had fun eating supper and in choir at church afterwards!
