Hibachi, S'mores, Breakfast Date, Movie, Golf

I think hubs had the perfect birthday weekend. :)

Friday night we ate Hibachi with the neighbors and then roasted S'mores. Our neighbors brought their fire pit to our house since Molly Caroline fell asleep on the way home.

Saturday morning we went to Waffle House for A breakfast date. :) Then lowes and Stones, ate sandwiches in our backyard, and spent the majority of the afternoon outside. Molly Caroline went to bed early and Matt and I had a dvd movie date!

Molly Caroline "helped" me cook Matt breakfast before church. Then after church we went to Barbs with our life group. Matt got to play golf with the guys and we had his homemade birthday cake when he got home! Molly Caroline loves singing Happy Birthday! :)

It was a full weekend celebrating the most thoughtful, loving, funny, hubby and daddy ever. Hoping his 33rd year is the best yet!

Valentine's fun!

Molly Caroline worked on some Valentine art last weekend. She stuck the hearts on all by herself. However instead of helping me make a heart shaped bird feeder, she ate the cereal.

We had lots of sweet treats at school! And Matt sent me an orchid to school! I love these flowers because they last and they were my Nanny Janes favorite. He's a thoughtful hubby!

Friday night we went on a family Valentine night to Bella Bella. It's so good, the atmosphere is really nice, and it's loud. That's why we chose it! And MC was excited to be there and she was loud...so it worked out perfectly!

Saturday morning we let Molly Caroline have her first donut and a special Valentine breakfast! She LOVED it! So fun!

Then we went downtown to storytime. They read a fun love book and made valentines. She didn't want to sit an listen, but she stood and listened. :)

While MC was napping I set out goodies for her and Blakely. She was so excited when she woke up!

Then I visited a friend in the hospital!! I love visiting friends in the hospital after they've had a baby and I loved holding her sweet baby girl, Hannah Kate!

Our neighbors came over and the babies played and we got in a game of corn hole.

Matty got MC a pink rose and a cookie for her last Valentine treats of the night. So sweet! ;)

Molly Caroline was exhausted from only taking one nap on our busy day so she went to bed early and Matt and I had a candlelit grilled dinner just the two of us! That never happens!

Sunday we just played, enjoyed church, and went to lunch with our life group!
I didn't want the weekend to end! I really wished that we had President's Day off! Well...just counting down to the next one!

Valentine Prep, Matilda Jane, and CNock!

Valentine prep week is so fun to me! We went super simple again this year. I chose what Molly Caroline was giving based on what she likes right now...coloring and pouches! ;) Mimi got squeeze icing and a gift card to a local store that she buys all her baking supplies for her cake baking.
I love that Molly Caroline got to help! This was so much fun that I think we will make heart crayons every year no matter what!

And last year! Last year I chose goldfish because that fit her birthday party theme.

Other than prepping Valentines our week consisted of gymnastics, church, reading, and lots of playing outside!

Oh and we received our first item of Matilda Jane. Gasp! I'm usually not a huge fan. I like it all for sure...but don't love the fabric patterns (sometimes they look muted) and the styles look kind of growny. However I did love several things in this collection. Yay!! And you know my rose baby (born in the city of roses and it's her birth month flower) needed rose pants! :)

I was singing it over and over this week!!

TGIF!
