30-31 Weeks, Pumpkins, and Pretty Baby Girl Things

In the past week I've had an ultrasound and a regular appointment! I am officially going every two weeks now, although I will go this Friday which is only a week since my last appointment. My Dr is going out of town and she suggested that we just skip to one week so I don't have to see anyone else. I'm so glad she thought of that! ;)!

The ultrasound was great. She is breech yet again. Her head is pushing on my stomach and her bottom is low low low against my bladder and cervix. Both explain a lot. We finally got all the heart pictures needed and they are all normal. Molly Caroline got to see her for the first time, and it was sweet! She kept saying, I'm a big sister! In the ultrasound they said she was measuring a week ahead now, right at 3 pounds and in the 64 percentile. But when I was checked at my appointment, my Dr said I was measuring right on track. I feel great! I just have to kind of walk slow for a split second right after sitting. She is really so low all the time!

I put out all my fall and Halloween decor and MC is in love! More pics to come!

I have one outfit for baby sister to wear in the hospital. MC really wanted to wear the hat! ;)

New Gear and Nursery for Baby Sister

We don't need much for baby sister, thankfully! Pretty much every big thing we have is gender neutral, so it would've been fine for a boy too. And we definitely have some sweet clothing that we will be passing down. She's also gotten several sweet new things already. :)

However I do love all things baby and have come across several new items since having MC...

Covered goods. A nursing cover and car seat cover all in one. I actually never had either with MC.

A Mamaroo. They were out when MC was born but brand new and really expensive. I hear your baby either loves it or hates it.

A new carrier/wrap. I am torn between a Solly and a Tula.

And a splurge. A palmetto pearl bow swaddle from Beaufort Bonnet Company. I had it on my list to get a plantation pink one before Molly Caroline was born and somehow let it slip my mind until she was a few months old. I still regret it.
As far as the nursery goes, all the furniture, curtains, pink ruffled linen bumper, and even the pearl pink ceiling will be the same. However we do have some things to spruce up.

The walls will be painted a pale blue. Probably sweet bluette from BM.

We will add in some love bird and love bird damask fabric/accessories from carousel designs.

A white chandelier.

And a wooden monogram to match the one that Molly Caroline has...in case they ever share a room. Which would be precious to me!

Pumpkin Time!

I've been craving pumpkin everything! I put out two boxes of pumpkins tonight, and picked up a few fun things to give Molly Caroline in October! I've been planning our visits to pumpkin patches too!

I had a Dr appointment this morning, so I took MC to school for the first time on my way. Of course, she cried and kept saying, hold you mama! Broke my heart!

I kept pretty busy at my appointment, list making, reading, and working on her baby book.

Our first matching jammies arrived in the mail! And my parents sent a Georgia gown!

We're getting ready for picture day tomorrow and the first day of fall! Yeah!

Football, Cinderella, and a Ladybug Party!

Oh how I love the weekends!!!
Saturday morning we put on our red and black and headed downtown to attend two story times! I needed to pick up a gift, so we stopped in Mary Madison first. Then we popped in The Bookshelf for their weekly story time too.

We worked around the house and enjoyed the Georgia game!! How bout them Dawgs! And then Cinderella! Molly Caroline had been mentioning Cinderella every time the preview for the movie came on, so we were excited to watch it with her.

Sunday we headed to Jacksonville for a quick visit to Pottery Barn Kids to check out the beds and scope out potential Christmas gifts, lunch at Maggianos wth our best friends (MC and K were entertained by their fall treats and witch brooms from Nannie Beth) and a lady bug first birthday for Lauren Elizabeth! Such a fun day!

Now we're ready for a low key week and being home on the weekends to worship with our church family.

Georgia, Arkansas and everything in between.

It's been a whirlwind of a two weeks! Matt was out of town in Tampa last week for a sales meeting, so my sweet parents came to stay with me Thursday and Friday night, since I'm such a scaredy cat. They drove 3 hours to stay with their 32 year old baby! ;) They also took Molly Caroline to school, which they loved seeing, took her out to lunch downtown at The Scoop, and spoiled her instead of taking her to our babysitter. After I got home from work, we went downtown and Molly Caroline picked out the "cute" fabric that I'm going to use in her big girl room. She also picked out some green shoes, and then my parents treated just the girls to Mom and Dads. :) Such a fun day! Oh and preparing to be out for two days at the start of a week is no joke!

Saturday morning we headed to Arkansas for our cousins wedding. Molly Caroline was a flower girl! The wedding was on a Sunday night. The 13 hour drive there was not bad at all. We stopped every few hours....my Drs orders. Chick fil a and Target were our two stops of choice. Playgrounds and shopping were the best ways to walk and pass the time!

The wedding was beautiful, the weather was perfect, and Mollly Caroline was trhrilled to be reunited with her cousins! She did great, walked down...and stood by the bride and groom almost the whole time, until she named everyone in her family sitting on the first two rows and came and sat in my lap. She ended up walking back down the aisle too. She also danced the entire reception. We got to spend Saturday night in Missouri with Matt's grandma and then started the dreaded drive home. It was supposed to be 14 hours but took us 20! We got home at 4am Tuesday morning. Molly Caroline  was just over the travel. She wouldn't sleep. My feet were so swollen due to lack of movement. We made one last desperate stop outside of Birmingham at a Walmart after midnight and then forced ourselves to drive the rest of the way. We were sooo thankful to be home!

We've just been playing catch up the rest of this week. Since being back, Molly Caroline only wants to sleep in our bed. So that's a new thing.

We've been picking out scholastic books, playing, and going to Dr appointments. We've been tired! Here's to getting back in our normal routine and getting both Girls rooms finished!
