Rose Show Time of the Year!!
We love the rose show in our town! There are so many fun happenings, that I convinced my parents to come visit this weekend! Of course Molly Caroline sported roses all week...and it was a busy one. I had a board transition dinner at a friends house, we brought a friend dinner in Moultrie, and a group of girls from our life group went to see a friend and her new baby at the hospital in Tally!

Saturday Six
1. Spring Break. We didn't do anything huge on Spring Break, but it was perfect. We rested, I had a few dr appointments, we played golf (I usually push MC in a stroller, but we tried out a cart and she made it 9 holes), had a few lunch dates, played non-stop, ran errands and spent time in St. Simons. We were supposed to go to Jax and the zoo, but weather stopped us. :( however we did find a turtle and a caterpillar in our yard, and she loved both!
2. The Longest Ride. I saw this last Sunday with 3 friends and LOVED it! I've been kind of anti NS movies lately, even though I read all his books. I can't wait to rent it and watch it with Matt. It was sad and happy sad, and I basically cried the entire movie. Bethany was smart and brought her pillow with her, being 38 weeks pregnant!
3. The Masters and Birthday Prep. With the Masters being on in our house all last weekend, I've been getting motivated to do a few things for Molly Caroline's 2nd birthday party. I picked out the invitations and decided on the food...think menu from the Masters. She already has a bubble to wear that Foxy bought her last year at Bailey Boys. I just can't believe it's roughly six weeks away. Her gift from us is going to be her first ride on toy, a mini golf cart! She's going to love it!
4. JSL. I finished my 6 years as a member of JSL as of Monday night. It was so bittersweet. We started with 20 something girls and our class has dwindled to just 6 active members. Now we're sustainers! We were each recognized and given a necklace with our initials, JSL, and the year. I loved hearing all the things that each of us had served on over the years. I was shocked to win the member of the year award. Just shocked. I also had to present some gifts and awards to the president and provisional of the year. I also named the new upcoming provisional class and they were voted on. Dinner was delicious and it was fun sitting with my original class. Of course the board was recognized and we each received a flower. I handed over my position that represented the future of league to the next Vice President. And next year (although I decided president just wasn't for me, I'm not completely leaving) I'll be the sustainer liaison and will represent the commitment to tradition. Which is perfect for me! I will go to the board meetings and maybe a meeting or two throughout the year. And get the sustainers involved. Maybe plan a social. And of course volunteer at a few things myself. This leaves most of my weekends free for my family, which I wanted in my current season! I'm just thankful!
5. Sick Days. Strep throat (yuck) had me feeling pretty bad Thurs and Fri. Around 4pm yesterday I had s burst of energy and just felt better, so I did my lesson plans and a four loads of laundry, and organized MC's closet and drawers. We basically spent each evening outside, swinging and golfing.
Now we're off to cross a few much needed things off my to-do list. I love Saturday fun with my fam.

On my kindle...
I've been reading so much more since I got my kindle! I love to read anything and everything usually. Mary Kay Andrews and Karen Kingsbury are two of my long time faves! So I've been stepping out a little....here's what I've recently read.
Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Basket, and Easter Sunday
We hosted a fun Easter egg hunt and lunch for our life group on Saturday morning! I think we were missing two kids! We had a lot of fun!
Saturday night I set out Molly Carolime and Blakely's Easter baskets, layed out her church clothes, and we hid some eggs in MCs room for her to find when she woke up, just like my parents used to do!!
