19 Months!

Molly Caroline doesn't like getting sticker pictures taken. Hahaha!

Molly Caroline started gymnastics. She loves the beam, trampoline, being thrown in the foam pit, attempting somersaults on her own, and climbing on the mats.

She actually leaned over her anywhere chair the other day and ended up doing a somersault. It was an accident but I'm pretty sure she loved it! Ha

She has started answering my questions well. If I ask her if she wants to stay outside or go inside she will say out. If I give her a choice between goldfish or a banana she will tell me which one she wants. She loves both!

Cuties might be her favorite fruit right now. I can't peel them fast enough!

She can put her own shoes on.

She loves wearing her coat! Or mittens, hat...any winter accessory!

She played in fake snow this month.

She loves Blakely more than anything and kisses her and calls her constantly.

She can walk up and down stairs standing without help. So scary!

Being outside is her favorite thing ever. If it's nice out, we are outside until Matt gets home. I only run in to throw something in the oven.

I'm up in the air about how I feel about restaurants and earing out lately. She did great at Longhorn recently, but when we went out to eat with my parents a few weeks ago, not so much. She's always been so easy to take anywhere....makes me sad. I mean not many babies have been to Chophouse, Mom and Dads, and Liam's.

She loves to pretend to cook, wash her hair, and basically anything we do. :) it's truly precious.

Still loving baths!!

She has started singing to worship music.

I'm thinking by this summer she will drop her morning nap. :(

She has started to show interest in getting her diaper changed and the potty. She will hold the back of her diaper and say "I Poop" "Poo Woo" haha.

She is so sassy! She either gives people "the look" or a shy face when they talk to her lately.

She loves dancing and doing motions to songs like head, shoulders, knees and toes and the itsy bitsy spider.

We can't get enough of your sweet, silly, loving, and wild personality. You're just the best gift ever to us!

Six on Saturday

1. Molly Caroline and I were twins in leopard on Monday! And I loved it!

2. We brought supper to a friend that just had a baby! I love doing that because I remember how sweet it was when he had MC. My SS class brought us food the entire summer She was born and then my JSL class started when I went back to work! So appreciated!

3. We signed up for gymnastics! Molly Caroline and I will start the Moms and Tots class. I really hope she likes it! I feel like climbing, dancing, and flipping are her favorite things to do right now!

4. Thursday I rushed and picked Molly Caroline up, then went back up to my school, entertained her and let her play while our kids got ready to preform at a BEE booster meeting. Thankfully, Matt got to my school to take her home at the exact moment that the doors were opening for my kids to walk onstage.

5. We had nice weather yesterday, so we soaked it up!

6. Matt went to the movies with some guys from our life group, so MC and I had a girls night! She was also super excited to get mail from her Nanny Beth! She was thrilled with all of her prizes!

God I breathe your name, above EVERYTHING.

How fitting is it that the first song that we ever heard Molly Caroline sing to is a Christy Nockels song? The music was sooo low, but the sweetest little voice was singing some of the words from the backseat. Be. Still. My. Heart.

12-18 month favorites!

Pottery Barn Kids Anywhere Chair

Molly Caroline loves it and so do we. Hers is the pink ruffled one! We still use it daily.

Shop and Roll (Motorcycle as we call it)

Her best bud Hadley had one and she loved it so at her house that we went out and bought one. She still rides all over the house in it.

Cozy Coupe - Anniversary Edition

She got this for her first birthday! She loved climbing in and out before she could walk, pushing it from behind, and now she pretends to drive it.

NUK Sippy Cups

We tried many...this may have been the last one we tried. She drank out of it best, never missed her bottle, and they don't leak!

Melody the Mermaid Blabla Doll

She picked one out and fell in love last summer in Rosemary, then picked Melody out in Athens is September. She sleeps with her every single night. And...we call her Eleanor. That's her name to MC. :)

Mega blocks

Karlynn (her bestie) and MC got these as prizes after a long summer shopping day. She will sit forever with these! And she is usually always in the go! At first she liked to just take apart what we would build. Now she builds!

Livie and Luca Shoes

Expensive but the best. Now we try to pick practical colors that can be worn with everything, but we are sold on them. If you can get them on a big sale, they are probably cheaper than resale prices.

What I'm Loving Lately

Fixer Upper
I am obsessed! And we don't have cable! Wah! I just happened to catch a marathon when we were visiting my parents at Christmas. I was instantly hooked and watched every episode of the first season. I love Chip and Jojo!! And every single thing that they do...which is so rare for me and HGTV! Now I follow Joanna on Instagram and am so sad I'm missing season 2. I tell Matt this every day. I hate to pay a lot for cable again for one show...but we may just have to. Obsessed.

Emily Ley
I have her home base binder and am loving it! She has tons of amazing free printables on her blog too which I can't get enough of!

My Kindle
My parents got me one for Christmas. I used to say I never wanted one because I love real live books. :) but the thought of being able to download a new book instantly (instead of waiting months when I finally have time to go to the bookstore) and for less money intrigued me. For some reason I never use Amaxon Prime to order books. Anyway...I love reading but in the past three years besides reading bible studies, pregnancy, and parenting books I probably only read 4 books. Since Christmas I've read 8 I think. I'm so glad I got a kindle! Post coming soon on what I've read!

Groove book
For $2.99 for 100 pictures printed from your phone and sent to your house you can't go wrong! My first one came in the mail last week. I love it because they are fun pictures of everyday life from my phone that I wouldn't normally use in my photo books or scrapbooks that I take with my big camera. More like blog pictures I use. It's fast and easy. Perfect for this busy mama.

Organizing
I've been on an organizing kick since the new year. I'm going to do a whole post on all the spaces I've organized so far in our home! This weekend we are tackling the play room closet...which is also going to be my crafting closet. So excited!!

Winter in the South

Our weather has been beautiful this week...finally! We soaked up every single second outside! As I'm typing this it's raining and about to get cold again though.

Everyday I pick up Molly Caroline and we get in a good hour or two of outside time! She also started putting her shoes on herself this week and said Target. :) Two fun things!  It was also the 100th day of school this week. And I've been sick with strep/bronchitis! Yuck!! However...we're ready for the weekend!

Our Week

What a week! It was rainy and busy. We made Mrs. Pam a birthday party in a bag!   Molly Caroline loves a party hat and blowout so we thought it would be fun for her to celebrate with her friends!

Molly Caroline helped me make some lists for junior service league!

I left out monthly meeting happy because we secured the LP house for project rosebud! It's so historic and the ceiling had roses painted on it.

Friday was snow day! Matt brought MC up to my school for lunch. We also let her play in the snow. She loves wearing scarves, hats, and mittens! It's so funny!

Friday night was low key and perfect though. We grilled, straightened up, caught up on laundry, and episodes. :)
As I was turning off lights before bed, all of Molly Caroline's sweet little things caught my eye. I am just so thankful for my precious girl.

We spent Saturday and Sunday with my parents who came to visit! We went on a fun morning walk, shopped downtown and in Tally! It's always my favorite thing to have my parents in town!

Molly Caroline did well for herself! She was in desperate need of "play clothes". Somehow we mainly bought red and navy?

Modeling the new coat that foxy and poppy bought her.

We ate at our brand new Ihop, played outside, and ended our Sunday with a back porch date and blankets!

Long weekends are the best!!
