Walmart again!

I don't always like Walmart, but every now and then I go in there and am happy that I did! I can't believe I'm posting about WM, but my favorite Target has been letting me down lately, aside from a really great smelling lemon candle.

I found the cutest basket and wreath for Easter.

A precious swimsuit, play outfit, and sweet Easter jammies.

Green, Veggies, Bubbles, and Rosebuds!

I planned a little lucky breakfast for Molly Caroline. She was excited about it! She picked all the marshmallows out of the lucky charms!

I had a jsl selection meeting at my house on St. Patrick's day, so we had green salsa, spinach dip, and an Irish trifle.

One of my favorite recipes calls for chopped veggies, and on nights where I'm beyond busy, these are perfect. Publix for the win!

We did bubbles for the first time and she's a fan!

Project Rosebud was a success! The provisionals did a great job planning and executing the event. The girls felt special, pampered, and encouraged.

Speaking of rosebuds, the weekend of the event, I noticed the sweetest roses starting to bloom in our yard!

Yay for Spring!

Date Night and a visit with Lucky

Molly Caroline spent the weekend with my parents last weekend! It was her first weekend away and she had a good time, even though she was getting over a little tummy bug. Since I had such a busy weekend, I thought it would be the perfect time to stay with them...and she got to participate in all the fun St Patrick's day fun!

Matt and I were busy all day Saturday. We were up and out of the house before 7am. He got to play in the Lucky scramble golf tournament for my school, and I had Peoject Rosebud.

That night we went to our life group game night for a little bit. Then took advantage of our once a year free night :) and went out on a date! The Chop House was as good as the first time we went over a year ago...and this time I wasn't constantly tending to a 4 month old in her carrier.

We tried to sleep in on Sunday before we drove to Dublin to get our baby, but I was  up by 8!

Overall it was a great weekend! We've decided that next time, we want to choose a weekend where we don't have anything at all planned!

Eggs, Nests, and Bunnies oh my!

Really wondering if my love of eggs is normal? Most of my Easter decor is up and it makes me happy! It will probably stay up until May!

I'll share the rest soon! I have a few fun garlands in the making!

Whirlwind

It's been a whirlwind of a week. I missed four days of work and Matt worked from home one day to watch her. Two doctor appointments, a miserable feeling baby, and two exhausted parents later...we're on the mend! And we are so thankful!

I was about in tears when our sweet sitters husband brought us Pedialyte to our door one day when MC was too sick for me to take her out and Matt was working out of town! It's always hard not having any family nearby...but was especially so this week.

We are so sad because we are having to miss our nephews baseball game and nieces fifth birthday party in Atlanta this weekend. However, the decision we made is best for our family.

Other than working one day, I got out two other times. I had a JSL meeting (where I also thankfully ran into our pediatrician who reassured me that MC would be fine) and the Thomasville Kids Sale, which I love! I found lots of really cute things in Molly Caroline's size.

Our weekend has been good though! Molly Caroline is smiling, eating, laughing, and playing again! Matt has worked on the fence, we played outside in the rain! We grilled out, organized some things, and just rested. We found out that Molly Caroline loves sidewalk chalk! We even squeezed in two dvd movie dates after MC went to bed on both Fri and Sat night!

We were up most nights during the week BC MC was so sick and restless. So during her naps I kind of felt like I was on bed rest (couch rest). I actually worked a lot too...on plans, GKIDS, and Rosebud stuff.

Oh we painted this weekend too! She loved having a pony in like Mommy! :)

Books, Bethel, Bubbles, and Birthday

I am still loving my Kindle, but there are several books I really need to own a hard copy of. This is my list.

I'm waiting for Passion to come out next week, so in the meantime I've been listening to Bethel. It is well makes me teary. Ever be is amazing as well!

I ordered Molly Caroline her first summer bubble for this coming summer. Can you believe it's less than 3 months away?

Speaking of summer, I've been thinking hard about my summer baby's 2nd birthday and have just about decided on golf! She loves her toy golf clubs so much, we love golf, and it's a little bit different than most 2 year old parties. We will see. I have about 5 other ideas floating around in my head based on things she likes too.

Current Faves 18-21 Months

Llama Llama books thanks to our Nanny Beth!

Our 4 in 1 Trike! Molly Caroline is always up for a ride!

Lolla Cup for water as seen on Matty's favorite show Shark Tank.

Kidskraft Retro Kitchen. She plays at it all the time!

She is all about her pots, pans, and oven mitt too! :)

Little Tikes Slide. She never tires of this and it's small enough to keep inside during the winter months, in the summer we can use it outside or easily fold it and hang it in the garage.

Melissa and Doug Puzzles. She can finally do them correctly and loves them!
