Fall Candles, Doodle with Dad, and More!

I've been burning my fall candle already and it's glorious! We've had a small taste of fall weather, and we definitely also enjoyed back porch snuggles. I'm tempted to decorate next weekend.

Matt got to go to school with MC for Doodle with Dad. Of course their house is the 3d one! Matt said MC loved the breakfast and putting glue on the sticks. ;)

We went to Yobust a few weeks ago and MC was so excited to see Doc and Jake. However, she wouldn't go near either. She just waved from a distance!

Seasons

Christy Nockels posted this on Instagram and its advice I want to remember!

"It's not a bad thing to recognize when a season has ended and a new one needs to come. I pray that wherever you are you'll seek him out to be your ALL. You might be at the beginning of a fresh start. Have faith that He will be faithful no matter what it looks like. You might be in the middle...stay strong, WAIT on Him before you make a move, listen intently, press in! If you're at the end...don't be afraid to let go! Often He doesn't show you the other side until you push off of the shore of what you know to be safe and secure. In any part of your journey, look to Him for your ALL. Beginning, Middle and End. Here's to new seasons!"

Atlanta, Kids Sale, and Football!

That sums up what we've been doing lately! We went to Atlanta last weekend to visit my sister in law and see her new house in Vinings. While there, we went to Buy Buy Baby so I could test out the double stroller I want to get. Since they have great coupons, we came back with some other essentials too!

We loved visiting with both Matt's sisters and our niece and nephew. Molly Caroline is obsessed with her big cousins! We ate lunch at Chuy's, swam, and enjoyed blueberry crumble for dessert!

I always love going to the kids sale in our town twice a year. This was my first year to consign and I basically ended up spending what I made between selling at the sale and to friends. Works for me! I got some sweet things for baby sister!

And of course, Molly Caroline!

Football season is here! I love this time of year and Friday Night Lights in our town are a fun tradition! The rain didn't bother MC, she loved her third season (fourth if you count when I was pregnant with her) at the Jackets' Nest and hopes to get some pom poms for the next game! ;) She also requested a yellow jacket tattoo. Her top is too short, but we made it work, and she wasn't feeling the skirt at first. However, I think after seeing that Caroline had on a uniform too, she loved wearing it.

25 weeks!

I had our 25 week appointment this week! We had an ultrasound first and then I had one of my sit and chat with my doctor appointments, which I kind of love. We discussed dates to possibly induce labor in November. Hoping it won't come to that though! I told her about the craziest labor dream I had. I texted my l and d nurse about it, but didn't text her. It was insane. We also had a good laugh remembering my labor and delivery with MC. She said "you were so sweet and did so good, I'll never forget how you would apologize to me between contractions and pushes." Ha! I think I also passed out! Gotta love that she remembers it so well!

In the ultrasound, baby sister was breech and moving like crazy, kicking her hands and feet in front of her face and chest. She is measuring right on track with an estimated due date of Dec 2, only a day earlier than my original date.

The fetal medicine specialist reviewed everything and said everything looks great, including the pictures of the heart they got. We will have another ultrasound on a few weeks and hopefully the baby will cooperate and we will get the last few textbook images he wants of her heart.

Overall, I still feel great! I can't believe I'm about 2 weeks away from the third trimester. I have so much to do and not a lot of time! At my next appointment I get the drink the glucola, get a rhogam shot, and probably a flu shot too.

Weekend projects and fun!

It's been a weekend of little projects. Little ones to get ready for the bigger fun ones! I entered in all my tags for the kids sale. Today I'll be pinning them! I also have a pile of M clothing for a friend to look through. The goal is to buy MC fall outfits and shoes with the money I make.

We've been admiring the sweet artwork that Molly Caroline brought home in her Friday bag!

And cleaning out the guest room and closet! There's nothing left except the bed now! It will be moving upstairs and the twin bed we have will be MCs big girl room. Painting and construction of a window seat and shelves starts in two weeks! ;)

Baby sister has lots of clothes already hanging in her closet. There are a few new things.

She has to have some swaddle blankets of her own since MC won't give hers up! And monthly stickers of course!

And I have their first matching outfit in my possession! Molly Caroline already had this dress and then I found a 3m size on marked way down clearance. So I couldn't resist!

Molly Caroline has been pushing her baby around with the basket filled with food all week. She will park it and picnic! Matt asked her what the baby's name was...we were expecting Kate (her name for all babies), but said, "baby sister"! It just warmed our hearts!

Blakely and Molly Caroline have been inseparable lately. It is just too sweet! Most of the pictures I've taken this week are of them together! :)

So thankful that we have one more day of this glorious weekend!

Matchy Matchy

I am all about matching sibling sets! I can't stand the cuteness! I haven't gone crazy buying, but I sure want to! ;) I just squeal with excitement over the thought of two sweet matching girls! So far I've ordered two pairs of matching Christmas pjs and my mom has ordered them matching Thanksgiving dresses. I'm on the hunt for Christmas dresses for them! I love it!

I also love matching with Molly Caroline from time to time! My friend Jenn gave me the idea of matching football shirts for Friday's and I ran with it! They came in yesterday and MC kept saying "its a ball with a bow, I wanna wear it!" Happy Friday!

Back to school and stuff.

I've got a week and a half under my belt! It's been good so far! I was exhausted last week and skipped board meetings and Bible Study to make sure that I got plenty of rest! I did attend Molly Carolines open house though. Instead of lots of caffeine, the start to my year is full of lots of lemon water. And stripes. ALL maternity clothes are striped it seems.

I feel much better this week, and have actually cooked supper, played outside, and am only skipping one meeting! Molly Caroline started school and did great! She didn't even cry! I had her fully dressed and ready to sit by her special board ;) at 6:15am even though Matt wasn't taking her until 8. I just had to get pictures of her before I left for work!

Excuse the mess and tired mama and baby in the pic. I wanted a first day pic with her and she wanted me to "sit down"! Gotta love it!

In other news, I've been sorting through clothes to sell to friends and the kids sale.

MC got bit at daycare for the first time, and then a few days later got stung by a wasp or bee or something! It was scary and horrible! Matt was lifting up her swing to check underneath it and there was a nest and one stung her! :(

It was promotion Sunday at church and MC is in the 2 year old class now!
We're just thankful we're making it and nearing mid-August!
