Pumpkin Patch fun!

My little princess was teething and wouldn't give us a smile for anything! However, the pictures show exactly what she does all the time...eats her clothes...especially smocks. :) We went to a cute little church pumpkin patch in Moultrie with our neighbors...maybe next year we will venture to Mark's Melon Patch in Albany. Our little family loved our Monday night adventure!

A football weekend!

We enjoyed bundling up under the Friday night lights! The Jackets won big at our last home game. Molly Caroline stayed nice and toasty!

Then Saturday we cheered on the Noles with our family. We enjoyed the game but it felt strange dressing in garnet and gold.

We spent our day today relaxing, and getting some things accomplished around our house. You know...yard work, dishes, laundry, and lots of snuggles!

We have a busy week planned! I'm so excited about Molly Caroline's first trip to the Pumpkin Patch and Halloween!

Five on Friday!

Look at our little pumpkin! We are so happy for the weekend!

Molly Caroline will be bundled up in her Yellow Jacket shirt at the game tonight!

We visited our next door neighbor, Gary, today after school! We are having perfect  fall weather!

Bibs. Our collection is growing. Molly Caroline is drooling A LOT!

Breast cancer awareness month. One of my sweet friends was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. So, raising money and supporting her and her family is very important to us. I am praying constantly and we are wearing pink all the time.

We even had pink chips at Barberitos last night!

Happy Friday y'all!

WILW

I've said it all week...I needed to make it to Wednesday night and I made it! I'm loving that a presentation and my formal observation are over!

I'm loving the pink pumpkins outside of JMarie...and a relaxing afternoon there.

I'm loving having a nightstand with a collection of pacifiers.

I'm loving my baby girl ghost footprint. Of course we made some for the grandparents too.

I'm loving pumpkin cream cheese. And anything and everything pumpkin.

I'm loving pretty fall front porches.

I'm loving our birthday puppy and celebrating her 7th one with a baby sister!

I'm loving evenings with my baby who is growing up entirely too fast.

And I'm loving the fall candle that I'm burning and that Nashville comes on tonight.

I'm also loving this verse....

Have a great week!

Miss Molly Caroline

This picture was taken when Molly Caroline was 4 days new. Now, she is 4 months old...so we're a little late. This is one of my favorite pictures from her newborn session. Yes, our birth announcements are just now being mailed out!!! Yikes! :)

Spooky decor!

Molly Caroline helped me decorate the breakfast room last weekend! I love having a glittery, spooky Halloween kitchen. :)

4 Months!

I am pretty much in shock that we have a 4 month old...and that it is October. And that she will be 6 months old before we know it and it will be Christmas time. Time is going by so quickly. Every single second is so fun and happy....but I can literally tell that Molly Caroline is growing up before my eyes. I didn't realize how fast babies change and grow! It was especially meaningful to take her 4 month pictures this month, because last year on October 3, 4, and 5th, we found out that I was pregnant. We are SO incredibly thankful for our gift!

Now about our 4 month old...
Molly Caroline is the happiest baby ever. She is so sweet, and easy going. Not to mention adorable. :)

Molly Caroline sleeps through then night. I guess she has been since about 6-8 old...except for she would walk up at 4:30 or 5:00am and go to sleep around 9:00pm. Now, she goes to sleep around 8:30 and wakes up around 6:30. That is perfect for our schedule.

She smiles, laughs, and "talks." Constantly. She has just started talking to herself or in the car seat all the time. It's the sweetest sound to us.

She drools like crazy. Everyone thinks she is about to cut teeth. Our pediatrician said that should could see on her gums where the teeth will come in. However she said it could happen tomorrow or in a month.

She tries to sit up if you lay her down. If you hold her hands she either brings them to her mouth or tries to pull herself to a sitting position.

She still kicks non-stop and is so strong when you stand her up. Her pediatrician actually made a comment about her great muscle tone. We love our strong girl!

She tries to hold her own bottle.

At 4 months and a week, she weighed 14 lbs 3 ounces. She was 25 1/4 inches long. She is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. Her four month shots were not fun! :(

Molly Caroline loves to sleep with her hands above her head. She sometimes holds her hair while she sleeps. We've never once slept with her in our bed...that scares me so much. But I love to let her lay in the middle of our king size bed while I work on things in the early evening. She adores it and looks so comfy! I'll also pull her into bed on the weekend mornings that we're home to snuggle. I can already tell that she will love getting into bed with us when she gets older.

She reaches for her toys and swats at them. She loves her bird and ladybug best for that.

She loves to chew on her smocks. Her clothes are her favorite chew toy. She puts anything and everything into her mouth. She has a teether that she likes and she really likes Sophie her giraffe too.

We took Molly Caroline to the beach again a few weekends ago...this time, Destin on the gulf. She loved it! I think we have a beach baby on our hands!

She tried rice cereal right after her 4 month appointment and did well swallowing it. However, I could tell that she didn't care for it. She gagged every single time it touched her mouth. The pictures are hysterical. We are going to keep trying. I think she will get it. If not we will mix in fruit or switch to oatmeal.

Molly Caroline despises saline spray. And in return we hate using it. But we've had to a lot lately because of drainage and a stuffy nose.

Molly Caroline went for a ride in her big girl stroller. She loves it and falls asleep in it every time. The first time we took her for a walk in it there was a rainbow above us. Such a neat memory!

She has rubbed a "halo" around her head from moving her head back and forth so much. Other than that, our angel still has most of her hair and we can tell where it is growing and getting longer. I love that I can clip a bow in it!

She only drinks 4 ounces at a time...which is about 24 ounces a day. She still eats on a 3 hour schedule other than night time. Our pediatrician said we could start feeding her every 4 hours now instead. She is just like a clock though...so we will see!

She loves going to Mrs. Pam's house. I think she adores the other children...they keep her entertained.

She likes to look at the bright TV. I need to get her some Praise Baby and Baby Einstein DVD's.

She laughs when Blakely licks her. It is precious!

She met her great grandmother, Honey, at the beach.

Molly Caroline had her first "sleepover" with only Mommy while Matt was out of town on business. We made it somehow!

She prefers to be talked to all day long. She watches us so intently when we talk to her. Everyone comments on how observant she is. I guess she's like her mama!

Molly Caroline still likes strolls around the neighborhood, being talked too and tickled, hanging out in her crib, tummy time (for only a little while), her pacifiers (mainly when she is sleepy), baths, being sung too, her bottle, and being around kids. She is a daddy's girl and a a mommy's girl! We LOVE being her parents!!!
