Saturday Stuff

October just makes me happy! Seeing my baby's costume hanging in the mud room is just beyond precious to me!

We tried our first real art project together this week! Molly Caroline loved collecting the leaves but just wanted to take everything we glued down off. :)

Molly Caroline started painting on her own with a paint brush in Mississippi! Her first creation!

I love writing and sticking to our weekly meal plan!

Our go to stack these days.

Something about seeing Molly Caroline's stuffed animals on her chair this way makes me sad. It's like she's already all grown up. :(

This happy girl is my heart!!

Happy Saturday! I'm up way before my fam to volunteer at Hands on Thomas County. Looking forward to a semi-restful weekend. :)

Fall crafts!

We had a busy, but fun fall break! I'm very sad that it's over already! We traveled to Mississippi, Arkansas, and Missouri visiting family so we only had a few days at home. However, I definitely did some crafting.

I made this banner for our breakfast room. I hung it low so Molly Caroline can see it well.

I made her a little Halloween bucket.

I made her a felt pumpkin with jack I lantern faces. :)

We made a candy corn footprint. It looks a little bigger than last years ghost!

I made her a flower pot and we planted her very own mums. She loves her flowers. However, she likes picking them!

We also had our first annual pumpkin breakfast this morning! :) She loved her pumpkin muffin.

We also put together some care packages. More on the goodies inside those later! :)

It's been so fun being home with my baby. I cherish every second and break I get! Yay for a clean, organized, and decorated house too! 6 more weeks until my next break!

A whirlwind week and a wedding!

Last week was probably one of the busiest weeks ever for us.

We took Molly Caroline to Sesame Street Live and had the best time! I cried driving up and seeing all the parents walking with their excited kids. And I cried when my baby heard Elmo's voice! She really loves Elmo! It brought back memories of me going to things like that as a kid. We loved getting to spoil her there! Such a perfect night!

I wrote on all kinda of chalkboards for my friend Holli's wedding.

We attended a make-up Jackets game on a Thursday night.

Molly Caroline was also a flower girl in our friend, Holli's, wedding. It was one of the prettiest weddings I've been to. I'll admit, I was sick and nervous over it, but Molly Caroline did great. All while cutting her 1 year molars. Yikes!

We has the baseball themed rehearsal dinner Friday night. So much fun!

The reception was a blast!

Sunday morning we drove to Jacksonville to meet our newest baby season, Lauren Elizabeth. She was born on Monday, September 22nd and is beautiful and perfect.

We had fun shopping and eating at St. John's Town Center with the seasons, frusbands, and babies, and then just hanging with B and Lauren most of the day!

I think I'm still recouping. :)

Happy Fall....pumpkins and picnics!

We are loving this weather! I have a few more decorations to add, and real pumpkins and mums to buy, but our house is definitely filled with pumpkins!

I put my soft pumpkins in Molly Caroline's reach and she loves picking them up and carrying them around.

We have been having lots of after school snack picnics outside. We also just love hanging out on both of our porches. Tonight we ate dinner outside at our farmhouse table. It was perfection!!

Our windows will be open and a pumpkin candle will be burning tonight for sure!! I'll end this post with a picture of Molly Caroline being silly with her pumpkin headband. She's a mess!

Stuff, Work, and Athens!

Christy Nockels has my dream house and you can see pics of her pretty kitchen in the October issue of Better Homes and Gardens.

Matt and I had movie night last Monday after Molly Caroline went to sleep. It felt like the weekend and not a Monday! So fun, but simple! We plan on making week night dates more of a priority!

I've been picking up some Halloween goodies for Molly Caroline. I love seasonal treats!

I'm in love with this pattern that I got a few hand towels in. LOVE!

The theme song to The Fosters makes me want to cry every time I hear it. Especially when it shows the growth chart with all the marks. Do y'all know it?

My kids this year love experiments and cooking. Everyone thought our apple pie was delicious! :) two of my girls even ate the crust (their favorite part) straight out of the pan. They are precious.

We've been reading Frog and Toad stories for extended text and researching frogs and toads. The frog craft we made was a huge hit!

We visited some friends near Athens this weekend. The Radfords were awesome hosts. We took Molly Caroline to her first Georgia game! Shopped all around Athens, and just enjoyed it so much! We felt so refreshed being there! We can't wait to go back!
