Breakfast with Santa and a birthday party for Jesus!

Yesterday was busy! We attended Winter family fun day...my schools fundraiser. I volunteered and Matt took MC to the lunchroom for a cinnamon roll breakfast with Santa. I knew she wouldn't like him but just wanted a picture!! This is how the pictures went! However we still had a good time!

She took a power nap from their to our next scheduled event. :)

Birthday Party for Jesus with most of the kids from our life group! It was so much fun! We made a handprint craft, ate the cutest lunch, played, and had cupcakes! It was precious! Bethany did such a good job and Molly Caroline feels right at home playing with Griffin and Knox's cool toys.

She feel asleep on our way home and took a good nap before playing with her grandparents that stopped for a visit!

And had dinner with the neighbors! MC and Gar are great little play mates!!

5 on Friday!!

1. I survived student led conference night! It's actually a lot of fun, but there's a lot of prep that goes into it and it makes for a super long day!

2. Molly Caroline's elf made her appearance  this week!

3. I had a chance to clean out and shift all of Molly Caroline's clothes. I made my share, sell, and save piles! It's fun sharing clothes because I get to see my friends sweet baby girl wear things that MC has outgrown.

4. Whoa wait Walmart! MC picked out a Santa "purse" and I found pretty plaid ribbon today!

5. I added a few new bows to our decor this year. And some holly!

Halfway to 2, a REAL tree, and festivities!

She can't be!

We got our first ever real Christmas tree on Sunday! It hasn't bothered Matt at all and I love it so much! I'll always get a real one from now on I think! It is so beautiful! Picking it out at Ole south under the oaks was fun too!

We kicked off this wonderful magical season on Monday night at the Christmas parade!

We will be packing in so much this weekend!! I can't wait!

Jammies and Christmas!

I've been working on some projects! Surprise surprise! These advent bags are my favorite things ever! I'll share what I'm putting inside next week!

My advent prints also came in this week!

And my kitchen is looking pretty festive!

Smocks, swimsuits, and jammies. Those are my favorite things! Are these plaid pjs not the sweetest?

Speaking of pjs...we've lived in ours for two days other than a quick lunch at The Scoop and a Loli's meet up with some friends!

So thankful for this week with our biggest blessing!

Thankful for rest....

It's the first day of Thanksgiving break and it is so rainy out. I love it!

I love lazy mornings where we stay in jammies and play! I made MC a special cinnamon roll breakfast to kick off our day!

Thankfully we've already finished our grocery run for everything we're contributing for Thanksgiving. We do have to run a few errands after lunch though.

I've been slowly taking down Thanksgiving decor....and I'm going to add some Christmas tonight.

This is my main project today...Advent bags! I'm so excited about this!

I was hoping that we would be getting a real tree this year but Matt can't even stand this greenery (he calls them weeds) being in our house, so I'm thinking its not happening. Oh well...

I could get used to days like these. :)

17 months!

Molly Caroline loves the songs on Mickey Mouse clubhouse...almost as much as Elmo I think. She dances her heart out! Sometimes just does relevae over and over!

She is trying to open doors with the door handle but is still a little short.

She can climb up on the couch. She can slide off both the couch and bed.

She loves sitting and jumping on furniture.

She laughs when we zip up her fleece jammies.

She touches her head shoulders knees and toes when you tell her to.

She loves pointing to facial features and body parts.

She puts her hands together to say the blessing and loves "thank you father".

She told Matt to "give it back" this month!

She copies everything the big kids do at daycare. And loves it! Pam said she thinks she is their ages. It is seriously cute to see them interact play and hold hands.

She babbles constantly, we know she knows exactly what she's saying but we can't quite always make it out yet!

She is starting to repeat lots of words. Milk, Go Dawgs, book, Elmo, and say cheese are a few of her new words. It still seems crazy to when she says sentences like "I want to drink that. And I don't want it." She also says "give it back" sometimes which is hilarious.

She is still a great sleeper and eater, but a horrible bath taker. I actually cried after bathing her one day last week and said I'd give anything for her to like baths again. She screams and tried to scramble out of the tub as soon as you set her down! It's easiest for one of us to stand in the tub holding her as she kicks and the other to wash her! It's really bad!

When she says I love you it melts my heart.

She loves to rest her head on my shoulder when I carry her, and rub and pat me. I love it so!!

She does the motions to Bible book that Matts granny taught her.

Climbing is her favorite thing to do!

She's started sitting on her floor and not only looking at her books by herself but "reading" them out loud!

Molly Caroline we miss you 10 minutes after we put you to bed at night. You are just so much fun! Sassy, sweet, full of energy, always busy, and a little daredevil!  You love to snuggle lately and it's the best thing ever! We are so blessed to be your mommy and daddy! We are thankful every single second!
