Some of my favorite things!

Christmas Lights! In our cute downtown, all over the Pines at flowers, and covering the palm trees at VSU!

We took Molly Caroline to the front lawn last night and she loved it! Her reaction to the fountain was "oh"! It was special being on campus where Matt and I first met!

Bourbon and Bowties and Statement necklaces like Betsy Pittiard and The Heart Knot!!

Swapping clothes!! It's just so fun recording packages like this!

Pom Pom anything!! The ribbon I used for our tree topper this year has Pom poms on it.

Amazon Prime! I use it year round. But it's definitely made Christmas shopping so much easier this year! I came home to 5 big boxes yesterday! Let the wrapping being!

And of course Christmas outfits!

New Ornament Tradition

Every year since I've been married I get my mom and I matching ornaments. She does the same! I love the little collection we've built up.

My mom also got Molly Caroline two new animal cracker ornaments. They are adorable and she walks up to the tree and touches them all the time!

Picking out her ornament!!

I am going to make a handprint ornament with MC every year (until she's grown up :() I cherish these already!

Molly Caroline has been a pom Pom ornament  making machine for everyone! I think I will let her make an ornament every year too.

I can't wait until she understands the meaning behind every ornament!

Christmas in the Classroom and our Elf at home

We've been busy making ornaments, gifts for the parents, artwork, and reindeer food bags. It feels good to be done! Everything is now wrapped!
Matt is loving moving out elf around our house. We don't do it consistently, MC touches it, and it doesn't have a name. Maybe next year...

2 more days until our break!! So ready to be finished!

The Best Birthday Ever!

Well I turned 32 yesterday and it was just the best day. (Seeing Christy Nockels on my 30th and Saks shopping was pretty awesome too) A night at home after many holiday functions was what I requested and Matt made it so special.

My morning started off with my dad calling at 6am singing to me! I always look forward to that. :)

Blakely also gave me a lot of snuggles.

I played with MC while Matt cooked us breakfast. Then my students and coworkers had some little surprises for me. My kids told me happy birthday every chance they got! Ha

After I picked MC up I had a surprise waiting at my front door from our life group. :)

Then when I walked inside I was greeted with a clean house (MC scatters her toys everywhere and some nights I don't have the strength to pick them up)and everything set up for dinner. :) Matt even had balloons and our special birthday plate out. We like to eat in the dining room for special occasions and he moved her high chair in too. :)

We ate Mom and Dads to go, then after presents and cake, went upstairs and piled up on a pallet! It was so relaxing and there's nothing better than family time and Christmas lights!!

I loved getting to talk to all my family and reading sweet wishes from friends! I told Matt that the only thing that would have made the day better would have been celebrating with our families too. I'm  so thankful to be turning another year older!

Longest week ever...

I am just so tired as I type this! It's been a looong week! I know I still haven't blogged about MCs first birthday party, Halloween or thanksgiving (saving it for Christmas break) but I'm pretty up to date and want to stay that way! Matt got some longleaf pine trees last night and it made his week I think! We are both in love with heart pine and also love longleaf needles. Even Molly Caroline was excited, as any true Thomasville baby should be. :) We were thankful for the gift!

Molly Caroline likes/will tolerate/even enjoys baths this week!? She even wanted to play with her tub toys before bath time one day. What a relief! It's so enjoyable! Praying she doesn't stop!

We had breakfast with Santa yesterday at school, are playing lots of fun learning games...and even have an elf. But my kids are so loud and a just overly emotional! Help!! ;)

The playroom is finally painted!! Now to get organized!

Molly Caroline loves looking at this picture of me and Matt kissing her cheeks as she's eating her smash cake. It's precious!

She's just so fun!!

Thank goodness it is Friday!!
