I can almost taste it!

Summer...it's so close! It was a loooonnggg week! However, I still have a few highlights!

Playing at the Y during the workday.

A huge summer thunderstorm and spaghetti supper with my family! So cozy!

Flowers from a sweet student. :)

A good mail week for MC.

I painted her nails for the first time! Bulldawg red!

We celebrated mama being done with kids with a mini cupcake (or cake as she calls it).

I had patriotic pillows waiting on me at home from the most thoughtful hubs!

First summer evening well spent! Staying up late and playing in the street! :)

I think I can make it through post ️planning now. :)

Teacher Appreciation Week and More

What a week! It was insane. It was also our student teachers last week. I'm so thankful that it was teacher appreciation week though, because getting little goodies everyday helped! :) Treats, Smallcakes, Chickfila breakfast, muffins and fruit, and lunch were all provided for us this week. SO nice!

Friday, we had graduation practice, the mini relay for life that I was in charge of, and GKIDS had to be finished by 12 noon. So, all of that before noon. And it was the end of student led conference week. I'm not sure how much money our 80's themed relay raised, but the cube was pretty full when I turned it in.

Besides working late most days this week, our evenings were full of fun family time! We went to one of my students softball games. Molly Caroline kept saying, "I wanna play!" She watched the entire game!!

We had a birthday dinner with our neighbors! Molly Caroline got her first boo boo that needed bandaids. She is now slightly in love with them.

We ate a delicious supper with friends/Matt got to fish/MC was in love with all the cars, trains, and fun outdoor toys on Friday night!

We also went to a gender reveal for my friend Holli! JoyAnna will be her little girls name!

10 days until summer!!

Everything is mine in You

It's been a downright exhausting, crazy work week. I think some weeks are just like this. 3 weeks and counting until a much needed break! Hurry Summer!

We had a prayer shower with our life group, my jsl provisionals planned a little dinner for me (3 hours laughing with sweet new friends and yummy eggplant was much needed and Matt brought home CFA for MC and they had a little date), and we had a lot of fun at first friday downtown. We loaded up the wagon, MC danced in the street, and we enjoyed our favorite King of Pops for free!

Oh and Matt built shelving for our garage that never stays clean! Hallelujah for some storage and organization!

Of course, another highlight was Christy Nockels releasing her latest and greatest (to me) live worship album. Matt surprised me with it (he texted me the picture below) and I think I just keep playing, "everything is mine in You" over and over.

Rose Show Time of the Year!!

We love the rose show in our town! There  are so many fun happenings, that I convinced my parents to come visit this weekend! Of course Molly Caroline sported roses all week...and it was a busy one. I had a board transition dinner at a friends house, we brought a friend dinner in Moultrie, and a group of girls from our life group went to see a friend and her new baby at the hospital in Tally!

Molly Caroline liked the Rose Bud parade for kids best! She played and danced with Elsa the entire time!

We went to Moonspin before the actual Rose show parade! Then of course ended the night with rose cupcakes.
