Matt cut the grass and worked outside on Saturday.
While he did that, I went through his old baby pictures that his dad gave him that needed to be sorted. Wasn't he the cutest little boy?
It was there, organizing his pictures, that I got the scare of my life. If you know me, you know I'm not kidding.
There seemed to be the largest, most disgusting lizard I had ever seen in the bag. I picked up the bag, while screaming, and ran and threw it outside into the backyard. I couldn't stand the thought of the lizard being in my house...that is what gave me strength to be brave and pick up the bag.
As soon as I made it ouside I began gagging and spitting off of the back porch while Matt inspected the lizard with a stick. Truth be told, he was grossed out too because it was so stinkin' big. Our neighbors have got to love living near us.
Well, it was fake, made of plastic. Thank the Lord! Ha! Even though I know it's fake, it still scares me to see it on here. Haha!
I think I was still traumatized by the experience, so I did what I do best (other than shop)...I found some burlap and spray paint in the garage and got to work. I decorated with burlap and spray painted some picture frames. We also hung up a rooster hanging rack that we had hanging in our old house. I also did some major cleaning.
I didn't get out my fall decor yet, but I did burn a fall smelling candle. I just couldn't wait!
Counting down the days until fall and football!
