Think Pink and a Birthday

We had to get our pink chips to support breast cancer from Barberito's!

Then we celebrated a special pups birthday! :) Blakely is 5 years old and a spoiled golden retriever...that is for sure! She got a mini pillow pet, a stuffed turtle, a VSU frisbee, and a new dog bowl. We need kids! Haha! :)

I am loving this weather soooo much! I am teaching enrichment lessons outside tomorrow morning, so I know that a pumpkin spice coffee and a sweatshirt are in order!!! Friday's are my favorite! Have a GREAT day!!

What I'm LOVIN' Wednesday

My heart is just glad these days. :)

I love that I got to spend last night having girl time and a heart to heart with my good friend, Robin. She came over for a few hours and we got to catch up. We are involved in many of the same activities at church but never get a chance to talk like we used to when she taught down the hall from me (We loved our recess and after school time together every single day). She is now the assistant principal at my school and although we see each other every day, I miss her! (This is an older picture of us at the Georgia Dome in Atl.)

I love her football for her door! I have been wanting to make one for months now, but Hobby Lobby is ALWAYS out of dark brown burlap when I go!

I love my new kitchen towel that she gave me. It matches my pumpkin perfectly.

I love seeing lots of fall work and art outside of my classroom at school.

I loved Bible Study tonight and that we met in a room with a table (I love being able to spread out and bring drinks in)! I just love being at church on Wednesday nights...I'm so glad to be back in a routine with going again. The word "Bible Buffet" was coined tonight...so funny! I loved getting to talk to many friends. :)

I love that we finally have a couple of pumpkins on our front porch! I also love seeing pumpkins and Halloween decorations everywhere on the streets and neighborhoods surrounding our house. Oh, and the fall leaves in the wind!

I am loving this weather. I wore a scarf for the first time today and it felt GLORIOUS!!! Everyone commented on how "fallish" I looked today. Umm...yeah, it is FALL! Round two of wearing a scarf will be tomorrow! Matt and I enjoyed some time on our front porch this evening too!

This has been a fast week.
I read this this morning..."Let your primary focus be communing with Me, worshiping Me, glorifying Me. Then you will be able to smile at others with My Joy and love them with My Love." -Jesus Calling

Monday Meetings

I had two meetings this Monday afternoon. First, I met with about 16 women in my gifted class. We started our second class tonight. I CAN DO IT! :) I meant to take a picture of the lab where we meet. I love chatting with the ladies on the back row! :)

Then I headed over to church to catch the video session of our Bible Study. I loved the end when Priscilla and Beth were on the stage together. I tried to get a picture, but the screen was turned off about that time. So, I just got one of Carla and Ansley packing up...haha!

I don't want to forget this, so I had to write it down. Matt recently was trying to help me gather my thoughts and he said, "You'll just take what you can get." I actually agreed at that time. But after tonight and listening to Priscilla speak on Ephesians and how God is able to do "way past my way past" to meet all of my needs, I change my mind. I don't just want to take what I can get, I want to believe that God is able and see if He will choose to go beyond my expectations and do something even better. He CAN!!

Ephesians 3:20
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

S'mores, Football, and More Football!

We had a fun Homecoming weekend cheering on our Blazers! We also found "our official" tailgating spot. It is in the perfect location!

My class earned a "Campout Party" on Friday. I saw these on Pinterest and had to make them. They were a hit!

Friday night we went over to The Pierce's and made our own pizza's! It was probably the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life! I made Death by Chocolate (it looks really gross here...but it was good!) for dessert. Then we went to the game to cheer on our Yellow Jackets!

Saturday was a Valdosta Saturday...our favorite kind! Lots of fun, food, football, and friends!

I had to include this picture. Carrie Beth drove us around today so I could write an article review and Matt could work on paperwork. It never ends!!! :)

I am getting ready for my week and listening to this song on replay tonight!

Have a great Monday everyone!

Our List

We made a Fall Break Bucket List and we got the majority of our list checked off! I guess we'll have to complete the rest over the next few weeks. I need to make a plain old FALL bucket list soon. Fun!!

Rainy Rainy South GA

What a rainy Tuesday...back in the swing of things at work, a Junior Service League meeting, and time spent allowing the Lord to refresh my foundation (from my Bible Study). I had a great day!

Deuteronomy 32:4
He is the rock. His works are perfect. His ways are just. He is FAITHFUL.

Oh yeah...

I got an iPhone!!! To all my friends, I can finally be in contact with everyone again! I haven't had a phone since July when my crackberry died. I have been using Matt's free phone, with his phone number and none of my contacts, and it definitely isn't a smart phone. I'm very happy and very thankful! My only two requirements for a phone were 1. good camera 2. speaker phone, and look what I got...wow! I never would've thought! Thanks hubby!
