December...filled with JOY and CHEER!

Wing A (some of the teachers...Stingerville teachers past and present) came over to celebrate Christmas and my former support teacher that now works at the hospital. We had lots of fun just sitting around, eating delicious food that I forgot to get an after picture of, and laughing! I love the ladies that I teach with!

Glitter, pins, bows, and vests....

although we didn't win prizes for the ugliest...we had the best time at the 1st annual ugly sweater party. My camera was dead, but I got a few iPhone pics! Brecca took a bunch though...if only she would let me get my hands on them! There were 8 couples in all there...I think about 12 were invited. I'm already on the lookout for our outfits for next year!


I laughed so hard when we drove up and their lawn was covered in blow up decorations.


I loved the backdrop for the "photo booth" and the solo cups and lights. I also loved the mix-matched plates and napkins!





I ended up with best dirty santa gift. I will proudly add this sequined nutcracker to my collection!


It was a great night of fun with friends and great, LOUD, music! :)

Red Nosed Fun and the Red Nose Run!

Our brand new fundraiser this year turned out to be a HUGE success!!! So proud to be a member of such an outstanding organization, Thomasville Junior Service League! We arrived at Thomas University when it was still dark and oh, so very cold! We set up, got on our antlers :), sang along to Christmas music, and rode golf carts to our locations. Afterwards, we went back and handed out SUPER CUTE goody bags, t-shirts, and awards! I loved every minute! Several of the teachers from my school participated, including my Principal and Assistant Principal! I LOVED seeing those green shirts go by! We ended up having about 250 runners/walkers sign up!

Everyone said that the course was beautiful and that they loved looking at all the Christmas decorations. I can't wait for next year!

Merry Memories

Tuesday night was the Troupe Christmas Show!! AMAZING!!! I met up with my friends, Robin and Elizabeth for dinner at Jonah's. Then we walked over to the Municipal Auditorium for the show!




Proud of my hubby for his award!!


I did finish my second gifted class on Thursday! YAY! We brought food, and ate dinner while we presented our webquests. Two things that will always remind me of good times in gifted. Betsy always on her celebrity websites...always. And Leslea and her Sonic drinks. It never failed, I would leave class craving a diet vanilla coke.





Our friends Jennifer and Jeremy came to Thomasville for Victorian Christmas. We walked around, had fried oreos, shopped, and then rode around and looked at Christmas lights and scary Santa's!

'Tis the Season

for lots and lots of parties!!! We had our Sunday School Christmas Party on Saturday night. It was a mix of girl talk at the dinner table, football, and the annual white elephant gift exchange. We had lots of laughs!!!











Other weekend happenings....

Winter Family Fun Day! I actually didn't get a single picture, but it was fun as always! However, we did get our Christmas basket finished to auction off for Relay for Life. Don't you wish you could win it???


The girls stayed with us Saturday night. I didn't get any pictures of Abby and I. But I did get a sweet picture of Matt and AnnaBeth watching Harry Potter Saturday night. And then a picture of Matty and his favorite golden. :)
