My Fall Must Haves

Anything hunter green...preferably a dome bag.

A bright coat. I love beautiful saturated colors.

Patent leather wedges.

Anything burgundy...I love these flats.

Gold everything. And GLITTER :)

Faux fur. Thank you Rachel Zoe.

Something leopard.

Western. FRINGE!

Scarves!!! Lately, I'm loving patterns...dots, chevron, aztec, leopard!

Thankfully, I already have most of these in my closet. I am hunting a good hunter green bag, something burgundy, and something with fringe.

I'm also loving the fall beauty trends...

Rosy cheeks. (Y'all know I love me some blush and tend to overdo it anyway! Ha!)

Merlot lips.

Navy nails. (A few of my other fall favorites are I brake for manicures and You don't know Jacques...a dark purple and brownish gray.) I feel like a burgundy would be a good staple to have too.

There are obviously tons of other Fall trends. These are just the ones that I like or would wear. :)

Millpond Plantation Afternoon

The weather was absolutely beautiful yesterday. I spent most of the day outside working on wedding projects here and there. After Matt got off work we decided to head out to Millpond Plantation...one of our favorite places to go! Breathtaking! We drove around, explored a little bit, and took pictures. Blakely liked it almost as much as her park. :)

When we got home we grilled steaks and just soaked in the fall weather a little bit more. I worked on a burlap banner for the rehearsal dinner, then we watched Parenthood. Oh my what a tear jerker! I cried so hard at the end when Kristina told the family. Do y'all watch? It is so amazing!

Home sweet home!

Well, I'm now officially enjoying Fall Break! I'm so incredibly grateful for this break! And I just got home from a little girls weekend at CB's house over in East GA! We even made it down to Brunswick. I could smell the coastal air and marsh! We had the best time shopping, going to church, eating at life changing restaurants (haha!), cotton picking, and working on some DIY projects!

I am glad to be home to my little family now though! Some things that made me smile when I got here:

Our loropetalums are turning a shade of ruby and blooming! Gorgeous!

I saw 23 tie dyed little shirts that Matt graciously rinsed and washed for me set out on our dining room table.

There are long leaf pine seeds in my fridge. Only my hubby!

A big, fuzzy, precious baby golden retriever was waiting on me! :)

I'm going to be playing lots of catch up on the blog this week! Have a great day!

I really, really like to plant things!

I am not a gardener by any means, and I really don't know a lot about plants and flowers. You would think that I might, since I spent countless hours in college in a botany lab...but I do love them and am learning. Matt is pretty good at keeping things alive at our house. :) Recently we have planted some ivy and asparagus fern, as well as pansies, mums, sweet potato vine, kale, and different grasses. Our crotons have stayed alive forever thankfully.

A shower and a salad.

I love working with so many women. LOVE IT! I also love when we take time to do things outside of work. My wing, Wing A, loves mexican food and we always celebrate everything by going to La Fogata. We had a kitchen shower for Whitney on Thursday. So fun! Her kitchen is going to have lots of red in it.

I'm so thankful for my friend, Michele. :) We worked together 5 years ago and were super close, and now we are teaching together everyday. She is my amazing inclusion teacher. We begin and end the day laughing...and somehow, have made it through almost 9 weeks already! I'm blessed!

We had another little celebration at work on Friday and everybody brought salads. A few ladies on my hall requested that I make a layered overnight salad. It looked pretty I thought! I used my friend Laura Ann's recipe. Lettuce, peas, mayo, cheese, bacon, tomatoes, bell peppers. It was so easy.

I'm ready to celebrate again soon!

Mexican, Quail Trail, Valdosta, and Changes...

I have been looking forward to the weekend all week. I knew that our weekend plans were full and that the Seasons were coming to visit!

Friday night we had girls night at Coyoacan in Quitman, GA. We love that place!

We were up bright and early Saturday morning and headed out to Pebble Hill Plantation to walk in the Quail Trail. It was beautiful and we had a blast!

After the walk, we ate breakfast at Hendersons. We had some car issues after breakfast and had to drive to Spence with my Tahoe back side doors open. Hilarious!

We went downtown to shop a little bit, then had ate Leo and Lucy cupcakes family style for lunch. :)

We ate dinner at Roadhouse, then just ended up cheering on our Blazers in spirit. We also visited our favorites, TJ and Target. We ended our night with Starbucks. Of course.

This morning was Sunday School promotion day for adults. We stayed in our same class, but have a new teacher. He is great and I happen to love his wife. We had four new couples in addition to our regular group, so we're excited about these changes!! It has been a gloomy day and we have hung out on our porch a bit and squeezed in a pretty long nap.

Two of our favorite shows start back tonight...Once Upon a Time and Revenge...we're pretty excited! And I have 5 days standing between me and Fall Break. I CAN do it! :)
