Busy Spring!

The last two weeks have kind of been a blur!! We've battled the stomach bug (I did), attended prayer showers, birthday parties, DQ night for my school, meetings, and egg hunts. I seriously love this time of year!!

Crafty

Seems like I don't have too much time to be crafty these days! However, I did make two fun Easter banners. And as for projects...Matts still working on the fence. It's almost all white now!

21 months old!

Our sweet girl turned 21 months old on March 4th and oh do I want to freeze time.

Molly Caroline says "mine" often.

She says "Beep beep" whenever she sees a car go by. And loves trains. I make her say choo choo all the time because it sounds like "shoo shoo" .

She Sings to Disney theme songs or any song she had heard before. She loves to sing! She also sits in a little stool in matts office and strums his guitar, and sits and plays her piano often too.

She pretends to take pictures and says "cheeee".

She constantly says "here mama" and " what's that mama", even if I'm not the one with her.

She spent her first two nights away from us. :(

She will sometimes call Matt by mart instead of Daddy. She also points to me and says Nicole.

She was sick this month and threw up for the first time and ran her first high fever. She also had her second ear infection ever, in one ear only.

She weighs 25 pounds (thanks to all our dr visits) but I'm not sure on her height. People say she looks tall. Although 18 month pants fit her pretty perfectly.

My favorite thing is that she calls "mama" over and over across the house when wakes up. Of course I rush to get that sweet thing!

She's on a grape And Apple kick and asks for them constantly.

She always says "Mama, I want to swing." And "lets go outside".

She loves putting her own shoes on and can successfully get on her boots, high heels, and Mary Janes on her own. sandals not so much.

She lost her appetite while she was sick, but it's returned.

She fights meds via syringe, but will gladly drink it with a straw.

She has a love for eggs, bunnies, and chicks and names them wherever she sees them.

She loves bubbles and sidewalk chalk.

She got her first haircut! Jilynn just chased her around.

She asks for her blankies and pacis often.

She loves (and I do too) for me to grab her little face in my hands, squeeze her cheeks, and tell her how much I love her. She also likes for me to tell her everything that I love about her.

I try to keep a running list in my phone, but I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

Molly Caroline, you are perfect. You are a girly girl, but love golf, being outside, swinging, and don't mind getting dirty. You get so excited about the little things, and we love that so! We like to take you everywhere with us! You are so sweet, a little sassy, and sometimes shy! You are the cutest thing ever when you scrunch up your eyebrows and look up from under them. You little open mouthed excited/shy face, makes us melt! You love your family and friends at daycare so much. You bring us so much joy!

Walmart again!

I don't always like Walmart, but every now and then I go in there and am happy that I did! I can't believe I'm posting about WM, but my favorite Target has been letting me down lately, aside from a really great smelling lemon candle.

I found the cutest basket and wreath for Easter.

A precious swimsuit, play outfit, and sweet Easter jammies.

Green, Veggies, Bubbles, and Rosebuds!

I planned a little lucky breakfast for Molly Caroline. She was excited about it! She picked all the marshmallows out of the lucky charms!

I had a jsl selection meeting at my house on St. Patrick's day, so we had green salsa, spinach dip, and an Irish trifle.

One of my favorite recipes calls for chopped veggies, and on nights where I'm beyond busy, these are perfect. Publix for the win!

We did bubbles for the first time and she's a fan!

Project Rosebud was a success! The provisionals did a great job planning and executing the event. The girls felt special, pampered, and encouraged.

Speaking of rosebuds, the weekend of the event, I noticed the sweetest roses starting to bloom in our yard!

Yay for Spring!

Date Night and a visit with Lucky

Molly Caroline spent the weekend with my parents last weekend! It was her first weekend away and she had a good time, even though she was getting over a little tummy bug. Since I had such a busy weekend, I thought it would be the perfect time to stay with them...and she got to participate in all the fun St Patrick's day fun!

Matt and I were busy all day Saturday. We were up and out of the house before 7am. He got to play in the Lucky scramble golf tournament for my school, and I had Peoject Rosebud.

That night we went to our life group game night for a little bit. Then took advantage of our once a year free night :) and went out on a date! The Chop House was as good as the first time we went over a year ago...and this time I wasn't constantly tending to a 4 month old in her carrier.

We tried to sleep in on Sunday before we drove to Dublin to get our baby, but I was  up by 8!

Overall it was a great weekend! We've decided that next time, we want to choose a weekend where we don't have anything at all planned!

Eggs, Nests, and Bunnies oh my!

Really wondering if my love of eggs is normal? Most of my Easter decor is up and it makes me happy! It will probably stay up until May!

I'll share the rest soon! I have a few fun garlands in the making!
