It's November!

Already! I'm 9 months pregnant and have so much to do still! Or Matt does ;) It's been a crazy week...I came down with the worst bug ever, found out AC is footling breech, gotten fluids in the hospital, texted on and off with my Dr who is out of town, and felt like a horrible mama and wife. And where I was feeling so ahead on being ready for maternity leave, I now feel behind, as I had to cancel around 10 conferences I had scheduled for after school. However, today I feel so much better, and am beyond thankful!

We put away our Hallowen decor and pulled out what very little Thanksgiving we do have. I am still deciding on theThanksgiving  table.

Worked a little more in MCs big girl room. The shutters are being installed on Monday, and Matt is finishing up some molding. There will be little details like curtains, pillows, and pictures to work on later, but I'm fine with that. I know what I want, it's just going to take time to get what I want made.

I am tired of my pile of hospital items being thrown in the corner of my room and am packing it completely tonight.

When I went in so sick the other day I packed an emergency bag. My makeup, shower shoes, a bowl to get sick in, and a beanie and Blanket for Anna Claire. :)

We had a great day today, just being at home. We started out the morning with breakfast and plantation riding in our pjs. :)

I put away some clothes for the girls.

And washed blankets and gowns for the hospital. Oh and tried to disinfect everything.

I'm praying that Matt and MC do not get what I had. It was truly terrible. And Matt is the best hubby ever for taking care of all of us and working so hard. It was a hard week with no family near us!

October fun!

Pumpkin Patch fun, again! This time in our college town. This little patch is special to us and we try to take MC each year.

We celebrated our Blakely girl as she turned 9!!!

Molly Caroline went through a cowgirl hat and boots phase!! sheriff Callie....yee haw! She loves saying that!

Our baby wants a bike sooo bad, but just can't pedal on her own yet. One is definitely on my list for her birthday this summer.

She loves our bouncy place, Leap Frogz now. She had the most fun!!

We had a fun hayride, fish fry, bonfire with our life group. 25 kids or so and 25 adults.

We made some big girl room progress.

MC had fun at music! She was Daisy Duck at her school costume parade downtown because she loves the stuffed Daisy in her classroom. She carries it everywhere at school and all the kids know it's her. I'm so thankful I took a few hours off to go. She kept saying to her teacher, it's mama, daddy, and molly! We're all here! Trick or treat!! Soooo precious!

My little sidekick couldn't let me leave as Minnie without a mouse face drawn on too.

And ice cream was a good way to end the week. It was so busy! MC for her first mini blizzard.
More catch up coming later with pics of our pumpkin carving, Halloween, and prayer shower.

Pregnancy, Appointments, and a visit to L & D!

October has been the busiest month yet for us! And I'm feeling great! This will be my 36th week of pregnancy and my only symptoms are extremely swollen feet!? after working all day and a lot of pressure that makes standing and walking quickly hurt! But I just kind of walk it out and am fine.

I've had great appointments lately, fun office chats, and I'm currently measuring just a cm ahead. My Dr says no big deal! I told her I definitely didn't want to be in the news for a 12 pound baby and she doesn't think that will happen. I hope she's right! Anna Claire just keeps her feet right under my ribs I think and some days I just can't breathe when I sit! Haha I never once felt like that with MC. My Dr said she about had a heart attack onTuesday  when she realized I was in Labor and Delivery so early, until she realized why.

Tuesday afternoon I had a NST and Anna Claire was moving everywhere and not staying on the monitor very well so I got sent to have an ultrasound in LD since Shaw was closing. I thought no big deal...texted my principal to let her know I couldn't help at stem night, called Matt to tell him that I was going to be monitored a little bit and to pick up MC and fix her supper....so I filled out some paperwork, chatted with some nurses (I had done it all before last pregnancy) and then bam they were getting a room ready, giving me a hospital bracelet, and ordering a wheelchair to take me to ultrasound. I semi-freaked out and called Matt to say I changed my mind and I wanted him to come. They said I couldn't bring MC so he brought her to our babysitter. Thankfully she was available.

Turns out all was well. The ultrasound was perfect. Fluid was fine, Anna Claire got a perfect score and my nst was reactive. Did some bloodwork and got to go get my baby girl. I cried because Pam fed her dinner and I was just so thankful that Mimi and PopPop would take care of her for us. I cried also because I just wanted her at the hospital with us. I even cried when I got sweet texts and prayers from my best friends. Stress makes me cry apparently! I also did not enjoy hearing the girl next door to my room in labor. She was screaming so loud! It made it too real. And my principal started a rumor that I was in labor and I had a ton of concerned friends calling and even coming up to L and D to check on me. People were shocked to see me at work the next morning. It was all quite eventful!

A name, ultrasound, snacks, and football.

First things first, our baby sister finally has a name....or four. ;) We had the hardest time deciding this time even though we've loved this name for a girl since MC was born and MC was almost named this. We also have always loved my mamas maiden name, Palmer, and it has always been our one and only boy name. It still is, and we decided to save it in case we have a baby boy or another baby girl. We started to like it as a girl name too, so went back and forth on Our original name or going ahead and using our boy name. We decided in the end that it is still our favorite for a boy, but if we had another girl that would be her name too. So maybe one day we will be blessed to have a Palmer or Palmer Kate. But for now, we are just so content and thankful for our sweet baby sister, AnnaClaire Elizabeth Whelan. We will call her Anna Claire. Still can't decide if we want to space Anna Claire or keep it together because to us it is her first name and Elizabeth is her middle. She is named after two of her great grandmothers and we think it's perfect. Gifts and items with her name and initials have been arriving this week!

I had the sweetest ultrasound of our head down!!!!!! precious, BIG, Anna Claire. It was so clear! She is getting hair on her head and Christy got the best pictures of her face. In this one she has her hand tucked under her chin, kind of like she's resting on her side on a pillow. You can see her eyes, nose, mouth, and sweet cheeks. It took my breath away when I saw it. She got pictures from under her chin and nose and it was amazing how well you could see her features with just a basic ultrasound. I was 33 weeks for the ultrasound.

It was snack week for me at Molly Caroline's preschool. We only had to bring it two days and that was hard for me because I had a lot of ideas. MC is loving all things halloween, so we went with "spider cakes" as she called them, banana ghosts, and a harvest snack mix for the first day.

We did a pumpkin theme on Friday and made pumpkin rice crispie treats, and I sent mandarin oranges, and cheese in a pumpkin shape. All things MC loves.

The big football game didn't end how we wanted last night, but the weather was perfect, and MC got to play with Elsa, and got a pink Barbs football, a CFA cow, and a pom Pom, which she shook all night and yelled "Go Jackets Go"!!! Since she has been born, we've been to nearly every home game and love getting seaso tickets, but we've never stayed for the entire game. We usually leave after the halftime show. So last night was a first! But it was great!

We are excited about a low key weekend full of projects, a little shopping, and maybe a pumpkin patch.
