Maybe I'm a Vampire? :)

I LOVE my OBGYN and going there is actually fun to me. I know that is not normal, but I've never once liked a single Dr. of mine until now, so it is kind of a big deal for me.
Here I was on Wednesday, so excited about going to my favorite place!

Wednesday I went in for bloodwork. Basically, my veins are hard to find. And the people in the lab always get frustrated when trying to take blood. Usually several people are called in and then sometimes even a Dr. Then I am usually told that I don't have blood or veins and that I might be a Vampire. Ha!

Well, I got stuck SO many times, and then got sent home. No blood. She thought I was dehydrated. Good thing I don't mind being stuck or needles at all. In fact, I'd rather get stuck then take a pill or swallow a nasty liquid.

Thursday I went back. After drinking lots and lots of water. Notice the cup?

She finally got it from my hand! She was pleased that I didn't bruise as much as she thought I would in all of the previous places that were stuck!

Is it weird that I was kind of sad that I didn't have to go back on Friday?

Y'all...I am already bored at home and it hasn't even been two weeks. Not to mention I've had plenty to do, been out of town a lot, and Matt's been home (although he's been really busy working on work related things). Even though I may be bored, I am thankful for rest, laying out, going for walks, getting organized, time with friends and family, and for having lots of time to soul search. I think I just need to come up with a set summer routine.

I looooooove that first dress you have one! Super cute!

Have I ever told you that I'm a vampire, too??? Haha! It normally takes 6 or 7 times for me to get blood drawn. They ALWAYS end up taking it from my hand like that. Grrr... Ha!

WAIT! Those are the pewter Target shoes, aren't they??? Did you get the rest of them? Orange? Didn't you buy turquoise that day we were all in Target???

Thank you, that dress is my new uniform. :)

I didn't know that CB! Even when I was always lifting weights, etc. they couldn't draw blood easily. My mom and dad are the exact opposite. WEIRD.

I got the orange ones that night in Valdosta. When Matt picked me up from the bachelorette party on Sunday morning, I opened the trunk to put my luggage in...and there were the pewter sandals. He had gone with his dad to Target and got them as a surprise. I can't believe he thought of that or actually spent money on them! BUT I was thrilled. He is the best and always so thoughtful!

Ok...ya'll are never gonna believe this, but I have the SAME BLOOD ISSUES! lol Whenever I go, it takes like 5 or 6 pokes and then they usually end up having to use a pediatric butterfly thing in my hand! hahaha So Werid!!! Why didn't we already know this about each other?
And Nic, I'm sooooo already bored too! lol I feel like I need a routine. We should enjoy it, because one day when we have babies we are gonna miss the lazy summer days!!! :)
