Can you smell the roses?

Everything's coming up roses here in Thomasville this weekend... Last night we set up our chairs along the bricks and under the oaks of pretty Broad Street for the Rose Show Parade. (I missed the children's parade, The Rose Bud Parade, Thursday night because of class :() We sat with our friends the Billingsley's. My friend, Becky, sat on the other side of me. And of course you see EVERYONE there. It is really so much fun. The sun goes down during the parade and the breeze always feels wonderful! Listening to the TCCHS band and seeing the Rose Queen are always my favorite parts! I did love getting to see Anna and Abby on the Y float...what cute twirlers! We went and ate with the Jense's afterwards at Beef O'Brady's! We decided to skip the Swinging Medallions and the Street Dance this year. I for one, was really tired! The good thing is that we could hear them from our front porch when we got home! I loved relaxing at my house and getting to hear good live music!

I'm excited about just being home this weekend. I have a long list of things to do, but plan on reading and relxing in between! Thankful for the weekend!
