I wanted to make a list of our 1 month must haves! Things that we used all the time and ended up loving. I'm going to try to do this every month...because I already have new things on our favorites list for month 2!!!
Aden and Anais blankets for swaddling. Matt is a super swaddler and Molly Caroline sleeps so well when she is swaddled. I like how these blankets are cool enough for the hot summer too!
My Little Lamb Rock and Play sleeper. She likes the incline and how cuddly it is. She slept well in this since she was a few days old.
Leg Warmers. Socks fall right off her little feet and leggings didn't stay around her waist. Her leg warmers were all a little big, so they ended up covering her feet and keeping her warm. :)
Snug a Monkey Swing. Poppy Bill bought her this and she takes good little cat naps in her swing. We never really turned it on in the first month, but sometimes we would swing her in it.
Medela Breast Pump and extra accessories. I never expected to start pumping so soon. At first, I felt like all I did was wash the pump parts. Then I got smart.
Micro steam bags. A life saver!
Grass drying rack. I also didn't expect to use bottles so soon. I love how roomy this rack is. We have a twig and flower attachment and they hold all of our many bottles and accessories.
Playtex Ventaire bottles are our favorite! We still use Dr. Browns bottles too because we have a lot of them and she likes them...they have the same nipple. We first tried Tommee Tippee bottles but Molly Caroline didn't like them.
Sleep Sheep. It calms her right down. Blakely likes it too.
Moby Wrap. There were a few days that I just wanted to get some things done and she didn't want me to put her down. This was an easy fix. She was well supported and felt like she was being held. My to-do list got shorter.
Nuk pacifiers. They gave her that kind in the hospital, she likes them the best, so that is what we are sticking with.
Britax B Ready bassinet. We use it all the time right now. Mainly because it is so hot in the summer...MC would burn up in her carrier when we would walk around the neighborhood.
