You are Amazing, God!

Everyone that I know has a copy of Jesus Calling. It was one of my go to devotionals for years. I loved that as the seasons of your life changed, each devotion still applied, but a lot of times in a completely different way. I still look at it every now and then. I remember looking at June 4, since that is Molly Caroline's birthday. It amazed me how it was the perfect message for that day in 2013. That was such a challenging day and I had to rely on the Lord's strength and not my own. A certain prayer that a friend texted me still stands out and goes right along with this. I remember reading the text/prayer over and over during my labor with MC. It was my peace that day. Isn't that neat!?

So of course, when I found out Anna Claire's birthday I wanted to see what the devotion for the day was in Jesus Calling. I read and thought it was nice. That's it. Then the other day I re-read it and it blew my mind! The words are perfect for November 23, 2015. "Treasures"....that day was filled with treasures. Some I knew would be there with me, others were surprises...Jessica, Kacey, Dr. McCollum, Dr. Bragg, Martha, my family being there, an enjoyable labor and delivery, a healthy baby girl, a great recovery! Treasures, treasures, treasures! The day was quiet and peaceful! I would describe my experience as calm and beautiful.

I just wanted to remember how both days were meaningful to me!
