Hanging things, breakfast, smiles, and Lilly!

Since I'm going back to work on Monday I felt the need to designate hooks for the girls "packs" and winter gear. I also assigned a hook for Matt and one for me. :) I'm sure Matt was thrilled to learn about  our new mud room system. Haha

Woodland Spode is one of my favorites and my parents gave me this platter for my birthday. Matt hung it for me and I'm in love!

I hung a Valentine's banner in the play room.

We went to breakfast downtown this week. I'm trying to make the most of being off on the week days! It was yummy and fun!

Anna Claire smiles so big! Her dimple Is precious too! Love my sweet  girl!

I love this sweet smile too! She's looking too grown! She requested to get her picture made before school this week.

And...Anna Claire got her first Lilly! A friend of mine from high school has two little girls both about a year older than my two. She lives in Savannah, but was selling it shipped for a great price! Thankfully my mother in law offered to buy it! I can't wait for Spring Break!

The countdown is on!

Fuller House on Netflix! I was in kindergarten or first grade when Full House came out and the show just defines my childhood. I remember going to Brownies on Friday afternoons and either watching it with my family or watching it with friends. Piled up in the living room with sleeping bags. Ordering pizza! We never missed TGIF...EVER! I'm pretty sure it was a thing all throughout elementary school.

Every time I see this teaser I cry. Oh the memories! I recognize all the voices! The house! The golden retriever! You better believe our family will be having a TGIF party when this comes on in Feb. Complete with pizza and blankets on the floor. I. Can't. Wait.

Church and Heirlooms!

My parents came to visit Saturday for the day! My mom brought me a little sweater and bonnet set that my Nanny made me to wear home from the hospital. Since it was the coldest weekend ever and we were planning on finally making it back to church on a Sunday morning, I figured I'd pair it with a white smocked dress. Molly Caroline actually wore this dress on her first Sunday morning at church too!

Anna Claire went to the nursery and slept very peacefully until we came to pick her up!

Here's MC wearing the same dress. And a few comparison photos. Most people tell me that the girls look like twins, but besides the hair, I really don't think so. They each have their own little look. Molly Caroline was 7 or 8 weeks old in these pictures and Anna Claire is 9 weeks old.

Favorites, friends, and fun!

I love that the nursery smells like a new baby! This room spray is the best!

Molly Caroline wears these boots rain or shine! Mini Melissa's for the win!

Molly Caroline's people that she sometimes refers to as her "kids"...daddy, mama, baby sister, and Molly Caroline.

Watching Frozen is another favorite around our house lately. MC got it from Matt's aunt for Christmas and she requests to watch it almost every day. It's really precious to watch her imitate Elsa when she sings let it go. However, Anna, is her favorite.

Hanging out with this girl, and having her smile and coo at me all day long is the best and my favorite thing ever!

Our friends, The Radfords, came down to visit and meet Anna Claire! We had a fun, full Saturday of coffe at grassroots, story time at The Bookshelf, lunch at Sass, some shopping in Boston, dinner at Moonspin, and a walk down to sweet grass! So much fun! Sunday we hung out at home and had just as much fun! Can't wait for our Savannah trip!

We had a family date night last night. We took Molly Caroline to a new indoor play center in north Tallahassee and went to dinner at Ted's! Sweet Anna Claire slept the entire time. Molly Caroline and I ran into Walmart and came out with a few goodies for her. A Sofia gown and an Anna doll. She is growing up too fast!

Our new normal.

We've finally completely settled in to our new normal. Of course, considering I go back to work in a week and a half. Things have calmed down and I finally put away all the postpartum goodies from the hospital that were all over our bathroom counter and organized our bedroom. The one room in the house that I could never get to straightening up. I would just shut thre door. Now I have a few stations set up for our nightly routine.

Anna Claire spits up so often! We have burp cloths stationed all over the house! A swaddle blanket...can also double for spit up protection/cleanup, and the miracle blanket. My very favorite swaddle.

A paci and reading material for my early morning feeding time.

A diaper changing station.

I've also really been enjoying my Bible study. I read the book Unglued a few years ago, but it's been nice to dig into it deeper and with a different perspective.

I'm caught up on laundry, have decided on Valentine's for the girls, and have just been enjoying holding Anna Claire most of the day. Seeing Matt more. Lunch dates have been my favorite. And also carving out special one on one time for my big girl! I'm dreading going back to work even though I like to work because I know it's going to be soooo much harder to balance it all. It's such a constant struggle. So for now I'll just cherish every second left.

Lately

I've still been giving out little Christmas gifts this week! Oops! I guess they are more like new year gifts!

However, I did give my Dr her delivery present in a timely manner! :)

I have a lot of time on my hands when I'm nursing, so I've been lightly planning Molly Caroline's birthday party. We are planning on having it at a local bookstore.  I thought we'd do pjs, books, and have a cake that looks like a stack of pancakes because she loves jammies and pancakes. So simple. Molly Caroline loved the idea, but has now changed her mind and seems quite set on a Mickey party with a Donald cake. And she wants to wear Minnie shoes. She talks about it daily. So....whatever she wants. We will see if she changes her mind again. I did find a cute book that we could use if she still wants a Mickey party. :) For Anna Claire I can't decide between a circus theme or a nutcracker ballet theme.

Molly Caroline still sleeps in the nursery, she just still sleeps so well in her crib. But her big girl room is really looking like a big girl room! So sad and sweet at the same time.

I am slightly obsessed with Target socks for MC. She is too!

And all this cold weather makes me dream about Spring and the beach. I couldn't resist this little rash guard. MC squealed when she saw it! Poor Matt!

I'm trying/wanting to start Bible journaling. There are several psalms that I'm working on and memorizing.
