Then we tackled Publix. It wasn't too crazy and I got to see my OBGYN and some of my delivery nurses.
That afternoon we went to our church's candleight Christmas Eve service. MC was very chatty, but loved the singing and the jingle bells. :) Matt did have to take her out for the sermon. It was beautiful and felt good to be there. Before we went I was trying to get a good picture of the girls....MC wasn't cooperating so I told her she could open a present if she did. She opened her new rain boots, loved them, and of course ended up wearing them with her red smocked dress. Lol
That night we made cookies, read Christmas stories, and sprinkled reindeer food outside.
Christmas morning was special. I love the time with my little family, but of course miss being with my family so much. Face Time is great but not the same.
Molly Caroline was thrilled that Santa left her a Minnie bicycle (really a four wheeler), a game (basketball goal), and some baby doll furniture. He left Anna Claire a new activity mat. :) We played, had a cinnamon roll breakfast, stayed in pjs all day, took a big nap, and watched a Christmas movie together. It was warm enough to play outside a good bit too. Before bed we drove through Flowers and looked at Christmas lights again, all while singing happy birthday Jesus!
