Inside Out 2010. We got to listen to two of our favorites LIVE in our town, outside at a park! Meredith Andrews and Shane and Shane!! We had such a good time! The only downside was the wind...the later it got, the harder the wind blew. We got to hear amazing music from about 5:30-11:00pm! We were both freezing by the end of the night...but it was so worth it!
Blakely got a bath!! I realized that I always took pictures of her when she was a puppy. And I decided that I needed some of her as a 3 year old dog! She is such a water dog!
I forced Matt to take a picture of my "pouffed" ponytail. I didn't even pouf my hair yesterday. I threw it up in a ponytail last night, and this is what it looked like in the morning..haha!
Listening to Meredith Andrews talk about her songs this weekend was so uplifting. I have her old cd, but am about to buy her new one (it just came out last week). She talked a lot about plans, the future, unknown things, and feeling alone and like she was faraway from God sometimes. It reminded me of one of my favorite verses, Jeremiah 29:11-13. I especially like the version in The Message.
I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out--plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. When you come looking for me, you'll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed. I'll turn things around for you.
