Even though I've been staying home from VBS, I've still been working on lessons and dropping them off at the church each morning. Well, one night I realized that I needed 2 paper towel rolls (empty), so I (desperately) unrolled two. Matt made me promise that I wouldn't waste the PT's and keep them on the counter for us to use. Ummm, this lasted about a day. I hid the rest and he hasn't said anything yet. When the lesson the next day called for 6 more...I got smart and just rolled up construction paper!
I've been spending a lot of time at CVS, picking up prescriptions and what not. In fact, I had to go last night because the inside of my mouth is covered in blisters from my fever, strep, or something. While I was there, I got sucked into the nail trend for Spring/Summer. I couldn't decide, b/c naturally, I wanted all of the colors. But ended up with Lively Lilac for now. I liked the name.
Matt's been really good about helping me cook this week. We had cereal one night. I couldn't decide what sounded good to me, so I pured myself a variety. Matt hates that I waste things, so he just couldn't believe that I would fix that much when he didn't think I would eat it. Turns out, he was right again. I ate one cup, maybe half of another. Honestly, I don't really want to see cereal for awhile now.
Other than going to the Dr., popping pills, and getting injections, I've been playing games with the girls, driving and picking them up from VBS, and thinking. I haven't really watched tv, read any books, napped, or gotten any exercise...I feel too bad or just can't concentrate. So I just sit around and think. And trust me, I don't need to think. When I think, I start to worry, over-analyze, and plan. I took this of Matt watching the CMT awards, while I was thinking. :)
I've got a busy day of tearing down my VBS classroom, taking the girls out to lunch, and then going to the Dentist (By the way, since my medical mayhem post, I've been back to the Dr again, and here I am going to the Dentist today). Lots of co-paying going on....you know what I mean? :)
Proverbs 16: 1-3
We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer. People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives. Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
