Saturday was spent in Destin on the beach. It was beautiful and relaxing. Poor Matt, he is married to a beach bum. I could stay out all day....all day long.
We went to dinner at Louisiana Lagniappe. Seriously delicious. Stopped at a bookstore and then spent the rest of the evening hanging out with our cousins at the condo.
Sunday we got up early, like Sunrise early. The beach is amazing that early.
We spent the day on Scenic HWY 30 A. We ate lunch in Rosemary Beach at Summer Kitchen and shopped a bit there.
Then we spent time in Seaside. We browsed there and ate a snack at Pickles. The rest of our day was spent at the pool.
We went to Shakes with Tara and Marisha for some more cousin time. Then we drove home really late on Sunday night.
On Monday we mainly did things around the house, including yard work. We planted our baby magnolia tree and put out pine straw.
What a glorious long weekend. I could get used to having them more often!
