We celebrated our 4th anniversary on Thursday, June 24th. Our engagement anniversary was actually June 26th. I did a show us your life post on our reception last year. Click here to read.
We were planning on going out of town to eat supper. But Matt had a long day at work, so we opted for LongHorn here in town.
We had red velvet cupcakes for dessert.
We give traditional anniv. gifts. And the 4th is fruit and flowers. We both ran with the flower theme. However, I did have a few fruity surprises up my sleeve for my hubby too. He loves jelly beans, so I got him the fruit basket mix for all his drive time at work. I also made him a list of things that make him sweet, tied to a pineapple (his favorite fruit). We laughed so hard at the things that I came up with.
Matt got a new pinecone, the "flower" of the pine tree for his office.
I got a leather flower bracelet.
I love being married and am so thankful for the man that God brought into my life when I was just an 18 yr old girl! :)

the post above will not let me comment, but the Fireman & I go to West Cobb Church! We were not there Sunday since I had my big July 4th event on saturday & worked 18 hours. I wished I had been at church, I would have loved to meet you in person.

Wow! West Cobb Church is where my in-laws go to church, so we usually go every time we are visiting them. Small world!! That would've been so funny to run into each other. I hope that your event went well!
