We visited Charleston and ate most of our meals there. We stayed just over the bridge in Mount Pleasant in the sweetest neighborhood at a bed and breakfast that was just beautiful! We took advantage of the club there...clay tennis courts and pools galore...two of my loves if you know me. We (Matt) golfed at Wild Dunes Resort, and we enjoyed lazy beach time at Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island. We went by Folly Beach and John's island for Matt to see the angel oak. I LOVED shopping and browsing on King Street, but I was pretty pleased with the cute shops that Mount Pleasant had to offer as well. Don't even get me started on the beautiful homes and all the window boxes, flowers, and greenery. Oh and the churches...AMAZING!
Stopped in High Cotton before we walked around the open air market and ate lunch at Magnolias.
Watching the Dolphins in Shem Creek while we ate at Red's Icehouse.
Where we spent our actual 6 year anniversary. GORGEOUS!!!!! I'm in love with Isle of Palms, yes I am.
The cozy Inn at I'on.
Anniversary dinner at Blossom.
Wild Dunes golf.
An evening at the I'on Club.
Cute little restaurants on Sullivans Island...I never got a picture of Poe's.
Dinner dates and late night porch dates...two of our favorite things anyway...but in Charleston, even more special!
Last morning! Right before breakast at the Inn.
Rainy and cool shopping on King Street. Matt ran into Darious Rucker. He was thrilled!
The angel oak.
Just a few more favorites. I found the best radio station there. They played all of my Selah, Christy Nockels, and Passion favorites. I was very impressed!
I love everything about the lowcountry. Can't wait to celebrate there in the Spring with friends!
