Y'all I did it.

I stayed away from school long enough. I finally gave in and ventured back yesterday. I didn't stay long at all. I just arranged my furniture, chatted with my amazing administrators, picked up my 1st 9 weeks curriculum notebook, and then got extremely overwhelmed. :) Isn't that how it always goes?

So...I went shopping! Ha! I got a fun, bright chevron rug for my classroom. That's all I got, I promise.

And my back to school letter came in the mail! I have been anxiously awaiting it all summer! I finally know who I will be working with this year!

Right now, I am making endless lists in my Lilly notebook.

I am trying to make a back to school list. It is so hot when we go back, you basically melt on the playground and at bus duty.

Simple studs are the way to go at the beginning of the school year.

I will wear my gold sandals or crochet Toms almost everyday I'm sure.

I am hoping that my Bridier Baubles obsession can dress up my favorite Target boyfriend tee's for the first few hot weeks of school.

Sundresses are usually my best friend at the beginning of school.

Lip Butter. My collection is growing weekly.

A giant cup with ice cold water in it...and a straw. I love a straw.

So, other than "trying" to plan ahead, I'm yet again working on several home projects.

I am determined to cherish these fleeting summer days. Determined.
