I got my lesson plan notebook/calendar for mapping out curriculum. I think it will be nice to have it all in one place.
A notebook for BST leader meetings.
A box for RTI/IEP (speech, gifted, special education) meetings. I have a feeling I will be attending a lot this year. I LOVE meetings! Plus some new Flairs for my life planner.
Some stickers, name tags, and postcards.
Glow bracelets for Open House, straws for birthday balloons, and highlighters to highlight their name after they turn in their morning work/SRA practice sheets.
Last night I sat down and started creating labels for the new things I'm adding this year. If you've ever stepped foot in my classroom, you will notice a few things about me. I label everything. I like bright colors and patterns. I love baskets/tubs. Velcro and magnets are my best friends. :)
I have had Matt Redman's song, 10,000 Reasons, stuck in my head all day. So now I'm listening to it on replay.
I'm excited about a Barberito's date tonight, hanging up my prayer board, and getting ready for our company that's arriving tomorrow! Happy WEEKEND!

I saw that idea about highlighting their names when they turn in stuff. I may use it this year, too. PS: Is all of that stuff from Walmart? If so, I need to make a trip!
Love your new notebooks... I'm glad you ended up with the blue. I think it totally works better with that chevron than the green!
YAY for FLAIRS! My FAVORITE!
The file folders, post it pad, glow bracelets, and highlighters are from Target. The rest is from Walmart. I've seen some neat dollar spot stuff on blogs, just not in Valdosta or Tally yet.
I've been on a light blue kick anyway. I have a light blue bulletin board in my room too.
